We booked a superior king-size room, which was a bit triangular. It was said that the building was round, so our room was all corners. The room facilities were very new, and because it was on a high floor, the environment was very quiet. The service attitude of the staff inside was very good.

The 43-Storey deluxe Howard Johnson Pearl Plaza Wuhan (Wuhan Jiangcheng Mingzhuhaosheng Dajiudian) with its distinctive golden globe tower, is conveniently located in the heart of city's commercial and entertainment district, the hotel is just a few minutes walk to the government offices and just across from the famous Yangtze River.Most of the 393 comfortably appointed rooms and suites offer stunning and panoramic views of the river. This international hotel is just 15 minutes' drive to Wuhan International Exhibition Center, 20 minutes to the Railway station and 40 minutes to the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.

Very pleased with our choice of this hotel. Beautifully decorated and perfect for photos everywhere. Even thought the front yard was a flower shop. Nice smell throughout the hotel. Room is spacious and well set up. Smart Control made things even easier. Glad that the bedroom lighting control is separate from the wash up area. Large window and large TV! Staff are all very polite. Expect them to greet you anywhere. Interesting to see a service robot riding the lift and running up and down the corridor. We haven’t tried the free laundry service but we found two arcade games in that area.  Highly recommend

The shower glassdoor seal frame was faulty but the staff just sealed it back without having to use any glue or sealant so we had to be very careful whenever we use the shower room throughout our stay. Water temperature fluctuates in the shower too. Fridge was very mini and had a bit foul smell. Unaware of the nearest metro entrance of line 6 was closed so we had to cross the traffic light to use the other one. Lifts were quite slow perhaps due to it was shared between another hotel in the same building. Overall i only like the layout of the room.
