InterContinental Wuhan

Loved my experience at Intercontinental. The location is great if you’re trying to have some quiet time. It’s not in the center or busy area. Spent 3 days here solely to relax and it had a marvelous view of the bridge and the Yangtze River. Great pool and gym as well. Breakfast was good but they didn’t have much to offer for their buffet dinner so we opted to have it in a different place. It’s worth it, I’d definitely stay here again. 😊

The room is really clean and large when I checked it was a really late at night, and the front desk has upgraded me to a and bigger room, which has significant view to the bridge of the city. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Also access to outside. It’s convenience to. I want to say the overall well designed hotel.  I also took the picture of the views by comparison in the daytime and nighttime are recommended to anyone this hotel. 

Located at the front of the Wuhan expo center are the intercontinental and Holiday Inn hotels. A good location for a river view and relaxing weekend. I chose the intercontinental, as our experiences at the Shanghai Wonderland and Chongqing Raffles intercontinental had been fantastic. So I booked this for our anniversary with high expectations. The hotel is grand and the rooms are lovely. The lobby cafe where breakfast is served is huge with a venetian style interior and roof. The hotel restaurant serves Cantonese style food and is worth a visit. A few photos attached. The service at the restaurant was sub par, and the bill was wrong, which we got the pleasure of finding out when the restaurant began to ring our room repeatedly around 10pm to ask me to go back and pay 30Yuan extra. Which wasn't a problem, but after 4/5 calls late at night to be told I'd walked out without paying down the phone was disappointing when I paid the bill I had been presented with. On our a trip we were quite disappointed to find out on arrival that the swimming area was completely closed, as this would have been useful information before booking. Our trip to Wuhan was great, but the service at this intercontinental didn't live up to their colleagues and previous experiences.
