Bestay Hotel Express (Wuhan Wuchang Railway Station)

The hotel is near to wuchang station and also good hotel and staff

The hotel accepts foreigners (as of March 2025). The location is very good, right outside Wuchang Station, with great access to public transportation as well as various shops and restaurants. Staff was also kind and it is possible to store your bags for free. The room was great, with all the necessary amenities in good condition. Unfortunately, although it is a non-smoking room, people smoke outside and you can smell it in the room, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're particularly sensitive. Overall though great value for money.

I booked the Bestay Hotel when my train leaving from Wuchang train station was cancelled at 11pm after I had waited in the train station for two hours.The staff quickly confirmed that they had space and allowed me to check into a room. Although I speak Chinese they were also willing to do phone translation to English where there was a communication breakdown. For 109¥, I got my own room with air conditioning, a Queen Bed, shower, towels, Western-style toilet, TV, Wifi, and complimentary water, tea and slippers. The hotel has a fantastic location, nearby several Metro stations and the Wuchang train station. There are numerous good local eateries and it is only a short walk from the Xinhai Revolution Museum and Yellow Crane Tower. It's excellent value for money and exactly what I needed after a long and trying day. Can't recommend highly enough.

Good breakfast very close to the train station comfy bed and good shower

The staff were true stars. I lot my bag on the train and the staff put a lot of effort in getting my bag back. The room is basic but comfortable with daily cleaning and new drinking water. Next to the hotel there are several budget restaurants and a mini market. The entrance to the metro and train station is at the end of the parking lot, giving easy access to the entire city

The location is good as it is near the metro station. The room is clean. Towels are wrapped in plastic bags for hygiene purpose. There is free tea served at the lobby.
