Good Hotel with no Amenities The hotel location is perfect! We enjoyed the ocean view and easy beach access. Garbage pickup and fresh towels are offered daily. The amenities were terrible. No pool or beach towels are available. Two small bars of soap and a tiny shampoo bottle are all that is provided. It also would have been nice to have beach chairs or umbrellas available.

Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was not what we expected. The bathroom needs a new toilet (very old and did not work well at all) as well as a bathroom fan. Linens and paper goods were poor quality and the sliding door to the patio was extremely difficult to open. We’ve stayed at this property before and had better experiences in other rooms. Room 110 needs work.

Wonderful stay! My daughter and I had the perfect beach getaway at Surf Suites! It’s an older facility but I was pleasantly surprised at how the unit was up-to-date and very clean! We loved being directly in the beach with the balcony. We will definitely stay here again!!

The area is quiet. The property sits on the beach and view was outstanding. Rooms and property were very clean. The only 2 downfalls were, the beds were more hard than we were used to and there were not any towel racks in the bathroom, just hooks. Management did not let you hang towels on balcony railing. But overall, a great stay. We actually stayed an extra night.

Surprisingly Nice I don’t expect much from beachfront motels but this certainly exceeded expectations. It’s older like most beachfront motels but clean, spacious and comfortable with all rooms facing the water. I nice large slider opens on the balcony. Very convenient to downtown and UNCW it’s beside my favorite restaurant in Wilmington - Oceanic, and across the street from Sundays coffee shop a cute, albeit always busy 2nd floor coffee shop above the surf shop.

Quiet Stay with Great Service! This was our first time staying here and we were very impressed. They put us on the first floor and we loved having the patio that was open to the lawn area. It was nice and tranquil. Housekeeping stopped by every day that we stayed and brought new towels and took the trash. The beds were comfortable but a little firm for me, but my hubby loved it. Getting a suite with a separate bedroom from the living area was a great idea even for a couple.

Gorgeous ocean front suite! The Surf Suites was above an beyond what i thought it would be. The room was huge. It was like an apartment. Separated bedroom, bathroom and a large from room with a huge kitchen! Gorgeous view of the beach from the back patio! It's only a short 3 min walk down to the beach. The restaurant next door was really good and you also have a view of the beach. I would definitely recommend. The morning sunrise was perfect!

Our suite was very nice, clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beach front balcony was amazing. The only complaint was that the toilet seat was about 20 years old. The bathroom was clean but the toilet seat was worn off in spots and the inside lid was stained yellow from years of aging. Everything else about the room was very nice!
