"I was very disappointed with my stay. It was the height of summer, yet there were no fans available for guests. In my opinion, every room should have a fan during periods of extreme heat. To make matters worse, the window in my room would not open fully, making the room unbearably hot. As a result, I became physically sick from the heat, which significantly affected my stay and made the experience extremely uncomfortable. What was particularly frustrating was seeing the front desk staff sitting comfortably with a large fan and the doors open, while guests were left struggling in overheated rooms. There were also issues with the lifts. The lift on my floor was out of order, and there was no sign directing guests to use an alternative lift. This seems like basic common sense and should have been clearly communicated. The breakfast advertised as "continental" was extremely disappointing. It consisted of a croissant, a yoghurt, and a coffee. The coffee was good, but the orange juice tasted like heavily watered-down squash rather than proper juice. The staff themselves were friendly and polite, which is the main reason I have not rated the hotel even lower. However, the owners seriously need to review the health, safety, and comfort of their guests. The lack of adequate ventilation and cooling during hot weather is unacceptable and had a direct impact on my wellbeing. I am genuinely concerned that the conditions could pose a health risk to other guests. Overall, I would not stay here again unless significant improvements are made"

"I had a pleasant stay. My room was clean and large enough to manoeuvre a wheelchair. I couldn’t book a room with a shower as there were now available. I’ve added pictures of the bathroom. I was pleased that there was an alarm next to the bed. I was disappointed that the lift was broken at the front so I had to go through the back entrance. The pavement camber was tricky in places. Staff were helpful, apologetic, and helpful. The room cost me more than I had planned to spend as I had to book Premier Inn quite late due to a competitor hotel also experiencing a broken lift!"

"Excellent stay. Hotel is in a fantastic location especially if you have a sea view. What really made this stay great was the staff. Shasha who checked us in was really nice and super friendly. Also the other receptionist who checked us out was brilliant sorry I didn’t catch catch her name. The only downside was the condition of the hotel overall. Although the room was clean and well presented, the same cannot be said about the hotel in general which is in desperate need of investment and modernisation. Only one lift was working and the other common areas were dated compared to other Travelodge’s. Would definitely stay here again though."

On arrival we were also informed of a party taking place in the building adjoining our room. Very noisy and little sleep for my wife's birthday night away. Nice farm in good location. Awaiting refund for my daughter who was always visiting the family room."

"Sadly not great communication. Don’t know if they’re email address or number needs updating but I emailed several time over a couple weeks and only recieved a reply a couple days before my booking. The room was lovely though, ideal for what we needed, only complaint was there was a 20cm round mirror only. We were going to a wedding so something a little bigger would have been really useful! Would recommend to others for a night or 2 stay"
