This place is fantastic,we had a lovely cottage,place was spotless has everything you need.Food in the pub was fantastic .Would highly recommend and would definitely like to return.Village people very friendly.

DO NOT BOOK. My parents were due to come this weekend for my mums birthday. This was booked through ***********. My dad has since developed covid and at 70 years old is too unwell to travel. As this is pay at accommodation, *********** have tried their best to cancel without a fee but the hotel want full payment as they missed the cancellation date. Well I am so sorry my dad couldn’t time his covid. So greedy of this place. I know times are hard for businesses but it’s also hard for those who worked hard. This is money they now need

Upon arriving I knew we had made a mistake. The place was far from clean and very tired. The room, supposedly deluxe, was tired, stained ceilings, very old furniture - I didn’t even sleep in the bed but rather slept on top of it. What can I say about breakfast - think my 3 year old grandson could have done better. Toast burnt, had to ask for a tea, when I asked for milk they plonked a 6 pint of milk carton on the table. Nothing in the area, would definitely not recommend!

Eceptional bed and breakfast, large comfortable room with en suite in a pleasent village within easy reach of many attractions and things to do. The host is friendly and welcoming in the convivial bar. We where in a room above the bar and where a little worried about the noise but we heard no noise at all. The full English breakfast is excerlant crispy bacon without requesting it as it should be he even reopened the kitchen when we where a little late to cook us one of the best burgers ever, I can heartily recommend this place and will be returning

went for sunday lunch and was fabulous, huge portion of well cooked vegetables, nice beef and a even better chocolate brownie 😍 very clean, family friendly and the staff where superb 🤩 can’t wait to come back and visit again

No ambiance at all. Got the impression that staff either don’t know or don’t care! Food served was very greasy and the roast beef was barely edible. We were not asked if the meal was OK. Didn’t bother to complain as, to be honest, I don’t think they would have cared if I had! Such a shame as the place has such potential. Also very expensive for poor quality food served.

OH 3+ week stay for work, very comfortable and excellent food. Absolutely no complaints or issues, amenable, friendly hosts, quiet and peaceful location. Work away a lot, this rates high on list of places to stay.
