I could not find a website for the hotel itself and, as of mid-August, the description on *********** is really misleading – there is no terrace, no patio for the room, no view other than the street, no coffee maker or fridge in the rooms, and so on. I certainly wouldn’t classify this as a “4 star hotel” – or a hotel at all – because there’s not a single staff person onsite. The fact that no one has mentioned *any* of this makes me question the authenticity of the initial reviews. Basically, the owner texts an entry code for the main door and room and you go up a flight of stairs to the room. All 3 rooms on the 2nd floor are in a corner (see pics) next to the shared kitchen. Door to enter 2nd floor and room doors are heavy and on a tight spring so slam shut - it's very loud as others come and go and talk in the kitchen which is right outside the rooms. There is also some street noise but all was quiet by midnight. Not sure why there are tiny paper Dixie cups and nearly empty travel size shampoo provided for a $200 room - we used the glasses from the kitchenette for water (there is no bottled water provided). On the plus side, owners are nice, bed is super comfortable; overhead lighting is excellent and, for our August stay, the AC was very quiet and efficient. The location is good - several places to eat nearby. There's a dollar store next door and another one a few doors down so you could likely pick up anything you forgot. We had friends at the Doubletree for a similar price and felt that was a much better value. I would suggest calling the hotel directly to verify amenities. Most of these issues are fixable so things could improve.
