As it was our wedding anniversary, we treated ourselves to a little luxury in Room 8 on the 2nd floor, so expected a spacious and beautiful room. We were not disappointed. The decor and furnishings were spectacular. It is light, with plenty of space to move around and store luggage. The enormous bed was very comfortable, with quality bedlinen. The en-suite bathroom is simply luxurious. Everything was spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast was good; however I would have appreciated some cold "continental" options and having to pre-book a timed slot within one hour was a little restrictive, but we worked round it. Hosts Mike and Lynn are friendly and personable without being intrusive. We would certainly stay there again.

Fabulous lodge in a fantastic location. Hosts were so accomodating and lovely spacious clean rooms. Breakfast was also delicious setting us up for a great day seeing all the sights. We stayed in the masters room and had lovely comfortable bed and large bathroom

Mike and Lynn are incredibly good hosts, their home is a very short walk from windermere and is ideally situated. They both offer a warm and friendly welcome and their home is immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed Mike's breakfasts and Lynn's service and attention to detail for our two night stay. We were over the moon when Mike and Lynn offered us their evening reservation in a local restaurant as the town was very busy and we were unable to book for ourselves. We cant thank them enough for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks and we will be returning in the future without a doubt.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had the best time x Such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere!! The room was compact, clean, very cosy and had everything we needed x The breakfast was lovely and the young staff in there were so friendly. The walk into the town centre takes 10 minutes so that was great x Would highly recommend!! :)

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Wheatlands Lodge. The room and common areas were immaculately clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the location could not be better for visiting Windermere and the surrounding area. Our hosts, Mike and Lynn, were so welcoming and absolutely lovely to chat to! They shared some local tips with us (including a woodland path to the lake) that really helped us enjoy this trip. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough - we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were very comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was served in a lovely bright small dining room with beautiful home made and local products. We had a really relaxing stay and it was in a great location which allowed us to walk everywhere

A very lovely stay indeed! - very friendly host - accommodating, we arrived late and they were able to provide self-check in service. -room was clean and comfortable. - breakfast was fresh and very tasty indeed. - short walk to the town - excellent car parking All in all would highly recommend!!

Fantastic stay at the beautiful Lodge. Mike & Lynn are great hosts, very friendly. Our room was lovely and very clean which overlooked the well maintained garden. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning in the gorgeous dining room. The accommodation is in a fantastic location, nicely set back but just a couple of minutes stroll to the bar’s & restaurants. A short stroll took us to the lake. We would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely stay again. Thanks Mike & Lynn for a great stay, hope to return soon!

From arriving till leaving mike and Lynn could not do enough for you Great room comfy bed fantastic breakfast in a lovely setting what more could you ask for and two mins from shops bar’s restaurants etc this was our second visit it’s no surprise they have recently won two awards !!
