Checked in and the AC didn’t work. 80 degrees in the room. Staff said 15-20 minutes and maintenance would be by. Decided to leave the property and staff processed refund. Still waiting on ******* to refund me for the booking.

The area and the home were an excellent experience. My only complaint would be that the bed was really uncomfortable. New mattresses would have made our experience much more pleasant.

It was really cool staying in an authentic colonial house while visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It was a short block away from the main Williamsburg Inn. You get all of the amenities of the Williamsburg Inn with the colonial houses. Our house was across the street from the back of the King's Arm Tavern so we could walk right into the colonial town right from our front door. We will definitely go back.

This is a fun and reasonable. Love for a visit to Williamsburg! You are right in the historic district on one of the closed off roads. Though you can still bring your car around behind the building. So it’s super convenient and fun and it really makes you feel like you’re part of the Williamsburg experience. Firsthand.room was clean and had everything you needed in it. Comfortable. Etc I highly recommend it.

The houses are part of the Williamsburg Inn. My cabin was a bit rustic and the Inn is really elegant, best of two worlds. Close to the taverns, etc. I enjoyed the privacy of my own structure. And I had a designated parking place!
The electric outlets didn’t all work, the toilet was temperamental, and it took me a long time to figure out how to lock the door from the inside.
I went to the Inn for two meals. Yummy food and friendly service. Pricey!

First time we stayed with Colonial Homes and our experience was great. Room was quiet. Were able to ride bikes and walk without any traffic. We will definatley stay again.

When you book into the Colonial Houses, know what you are getting into. The buildings are lovely, but old. The rooms are not plush. The bathrooms are small. We were the only people in an entire building with many bedrooms, yet we were placed on the second floor. Why? You can’t beat the location, and Williamsburg is so lovely, but there are more comfortable rooms available.
