Amazonia - the Jungle Experience Resort

Amazonia has good service and the food is spectacular, they also have a very interesting and fun tour. The workers are very friendly. and without forgetting the cocktails that andruw prepares that are magnificent If you want a quiet, interesting and fun place, Amazonia is the right place to be. ~Nanndo

Amazonia was a truly special experience and I’d highly recommend spending a night for couples and family. The decor is amazing, and they have a restaurant within the hotel which is very convenient. The staff were very friendly and explained all that was included in our one night stay. There is a great pool in the back, where you can order cocktails and have them delivered to you. The room is beautifully decorated from the inside and very spacious. You can fill out a form and customize your included breakfast for the next day, which includes so much food (pancakes, eggs, toast, peanut butter and jam, fresh juice, and coffee/tea), and this gets delivered to your door. If you choose to eat outside, you sit in a rainforest themed area, with a peacock roaming the grounds. At this point, I already considered the experience top notch, exceeding my expectations. But, to my surprise, they also offer an included tour of the hotel grounds! Here you enter a previously fenced off portion of the grounds, and you can meet the animals they take care of like monkeys and brightly feathered birds, and feed them peanuts. The area with the tiny monkeys was especially cute, you pass by them with no barrier between you and them, they run along your path. Amazonia staff take care of their animals really well. One thing to watch out for regarding staying at Amazonia, it’s pretty far from the airport and we had some trouble getting taxi drivers to drive us there, and it was expensive too ($55). But, you can contact Amazonia ahead of time with WhatsApp to get a complimentary pick up and drop off. Just make sure to schedule this ahead of time instead of the same day you arrive at the airport. Drop off can be scheduled when checking in. All in all, Amazonia was an incredible experience that I’d recommend to anyone staying in Curaçao
