Some of the management is messy and one staff was randomly interfering and threatening with the police after a miscommunication and mistake from their end. Maybe my expectations were just too high but I know for sure there are better places out here on the island.. don't let the "resort" part in their name of this one fool you. Long story: I was supposed to stay here for my studies after an organisation got me this place. Upon arrival I got placed in the wrong room only to find out myself that this one was supposed to be temporarily since the place was fully booked? (why they would squeeze me in here and then blame it on the fact that I came in to stay here last-minute, I don't understand either). No one communicated this. If I knew this, I would've stayed in my own accommodation that I arranged before I decided to come here but the organisation insisted that I stayed in one of their recommended places because of "safety" and in case something goes wrong, they can intervene. Same day, I asked why I got a room that didn't look anything like on the photos and the staff told me to stay here for a few weeks until my original room will be available again. Next day management discussed the whole mix-up situation with me and I got sent to move in another temporarily room because I wasn't happy with this whole poor arrangement. The airconditioning wasn't working, room was dirty and I just had different expectations. I also mentioned that I wouldn't fit in this room, because my friend would come that day and stay with me for a week to help me settle in on the island (since she's familiar here). We both would have to live out our suitcases since there were no closet or cabinets. From there on they switched me (to a bigger one with working AC but the place still didn't seem ready) and received the contract/agreement for me to look over at the next few days, because they normally send it before someone's arrival here. Management told me that I would be staying here for 5 or 10 days because my final room was still under renovation. Well I took the few days to read into the contract and agreement like management told me to and had questions about it.. a few days after I sat down with management, told them I didn't want to stay there anymore because how messy it all went and that I didn't felt secure. I didn't signed the contract because I didn't had any assurance when my original room would be ready for me to move again. From there on the communication from both parts (Delynne resort and the organisation that put me on this place) was basically going back and forth without communicating with me. On the 7th day I decided to leave for good and I went to the reception to settle this down by leaving properly. I got shocked by the invoice they gave me for staying here from the 13th till the 20th (they say it was a mistake that they put the 21st on the invoice..?) because it was more than the rent that I was supposed to be paying, if I would stay here..
