Premier Inn Whitley Bay

Great Premier Inn - one of the best! From the friendly welcome in reception, to a well appointed room with great sea view to friendly staff in Beefeater at breakfast and dinner. In terms if facilities, very much standard Premier Inn but everything was working and felt well maintained. The pillows would have benefited from being thicker for my liking. TVs needed retuning to latest Freeview channels - meaning that some channels were missing. Water pressure was a slight issue particularly in the morning. But these are minor niggles and overall the stay was excellent. Would I return? Yes, most definitely at the earliest possible opportunity.

Delightful reception staff, especially Adele. Spotlessly clean, very quiet, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast at the Beefeater next door. All that we needed. The hotel is on the sea front so a mere couple of minutes to the great beach We will definitely return.

We booked this hotel for the location, perfect close to the beach and Ideal for exploring the area parking next door £3 allday,we have stayed in many premier Inns but this was our worst experience. Staff first class, Rooms incrediblely hot at night all windows are sealed no fresh air in the hotel so unless you keep noisy Aircon on all night you roast,if you have a shower you need to ask reception for fresh towels as housekeeping for rooms is only when you ask.breakfast we were told to book a time as supposed to be busy,no it wasn't minimal amounts of food put out and barely warm,milk for tea or coffee is in a jug that takes atleast 4 pints, I saw several elderly people not being able to use it.we wanted to book evening meals but as my wife is a vegetarian only a couple of options. Apart from location I wouldn't recommend this hotel we had booked for 3 nights and didn't get one good nights sleep also as no airflow you end up with dry throat and sniffles. Not a Premier Inn now budget I'm afraid
