We were travelling from Pembroke to Galway by ferry and booked Tuskar House for both the outward journey and the return. Tuskar House is close to the ferry port and easy to find. The rooms are large and comfortable, and we were made to feel at home. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.

Tusker House , or, Tusker by the Sea, is a true life Bed & Breakfast. We had reserved our room in advance and then paid the additional for breakfast. The following morning, we actually walked a little up St Martin's Road took a left and then made our way to the diagonal walk down and to the right to the Irish Ferry Embarkation center to the northeast- not a bad walk as we had rolling bags, but took us nearly a half hour. Tusker House was quaint, adequate and served it's purpose . Staff was nice and breakfast was sufficient since we had a long day on boat to Pembroke Dock and then on to Cardiff. Did not see too many other hotel choices nearby.

This is not a hotel! It is a comfy room, ideal as a stopover before an early ferry. There used to be a hotel called Tuskar house on the same road, a shame that this imitation took the name. There are no public rooms, wifi is iffy and no soundproofing. The sign on the front door with a telephone number if nobody around says it all. Buyer beware!!!

Comfy bed, great bathroom with huge walk in shower which was lovely and hot. Wi-Fi didn’t work, which is our only complaint. We stayed room only as we were catching the early morning ferry. Breakfast was available for those who may want it. I asked if a take away breakfast roll was available but it wasn’t.

Excellent accommodation for staying one night prior to catching the Rosslare Ferry. We stayed one night on a room only basis as we had to leave at 7am for the ferry. The room was very spacious and an excellent bathroom with a very good walk-in Shower. We had a double bed and single bed in our room. No complaints at all except the Wifi in the room would not work.

Only an overnight stay before catching the ferry, but it was perfect in every way. Beautiful room, spotless and comfortable. We had a great nights sleep then woke to a beautifully presented breakfast. Our host was charming and we chatted about our travels. We feel really well rested for our onward trip. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

What a completely fabulous overnight stay before the ferry to UK. The room was clean and lacked nothing. Beds super comfy and shower lovely and hot with wonderful fluffy white towels. Great full Irish breakfast too! Staff welcoming and attentive making our stay an utter delight. This place is a little gem !

What a welcome by Kristyl so we knew our stay would be great. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and very modern. Kristyl made us a very good breakfast that set us up for a drive to the West Coast. Tuskar House is real value for money Baie dankie Kristyl and hope to see you soon

Like I would imagine, most who stay here, we were catching the ferry the next day, so it’s mostly for convenience. The place is no frills, and there is no breakfast served, though I believe it is available at a ‘sister’ hotel. The room was large and airy, and clean and comfortable. Parking is off the road. There is no bar for food and Rosslare harbour area has limited facilities, though there is a couple of take away places to eat or a supermarket if you’re prepared to sort yourself out. Ferry terminal is literally 2 minutes away. Would be happy to stay again.
