Paradise scenery. Not crowded at all. Most courteous and nice service. Clean rooms, newly renovated. Solid energy supply and wifi. Very good food. Nice choice of scenic adventures you might choose. In short, everything you could wish for

Very warm welcome from Debbie. She explained with great enthusiasm all the activities to do. We liked very much to hike the fynbosh trail. We stayed in a cosy cottage house. Beautiful pool and delicious dinner. In the morning the 7 horses take a bath in the pond beside the lodge.

We came from Italy and selected the place based on some reviews and pictures of the location. But the place pleasantly surprised us because of the fantastic location. We believe the place deserves to be better known to nature lovers. Few things we would like to share with you: - we were not expecting such a long drive on unpaved road but in this drive you will see grazing grounds, cultivated grounds, vast landscape all of which was a bonus - we were positively surprised by the variety of the activities you offer: we really enjoyed the hiking trail by the ocean and we simply did not have the time for the other activities. And some pictures can help better than any words to highlight the experiences you can enjoy - the quietness and silence you can enjoy in the rooms - the set menu was very good - the warm welcome and explanations from Debbie made everything easy - your commitment to help local community impressed us positively Again thanks for the lovely stay and we will certainly let our friends know about our very positive experience.

A very disappointing stay and this lodge seems to focus only on its international tourists. We were given room 1, the problem is the noise early in the morning when the kitchen staff prepare for breakfast/ it’s so loud you can’t sleep in. The breakfast was average, with basic white and brown bread. The room had no special touches - flowers? Rusks or biscuits? The fridge was revoltingly dirty and there was no shampoo or conditioner. The next morning we had to sit inside even though we had reserved it the night before. Generally surly attitude from the staff. This place is at least 45 minutes on a shocking dirt road and in a hired car this is a problem.

We had two lovely nigths at oyster bay lodge. Two of us did a horse riding „trip“ and two the sandboarding - was really cool and we enjoyed it very much. Rooms were very cozy, poolarea awesome, food delicios and the views and the beach just perfect. We highly recommend this lodge!

It is an absolutely lovely place, quiete, super nice staff, clean. Just georgeous. You can hear the ocean, see some wild animals and there is also a fare share of activities the lodge offers. The cook looks after you very well too - keeping the weight is difficult in ZA.

What a beautiful place to stay at. Recommended to stay more than just one night as it is really worth it! The private area of the lodge is huge and so beautiful to explore! There are several activities you can do here and enjoy the big waves st the beach. We would love to come back at some time in future.

We enjoyed 2 amazing days here and it was the best stop on our way on the Garden Route so far. We wished we could have stayed longer. Food was extremely delicious and the staff extraordinary friendly. We will definitely come back and recommend a stay to our family and friends who consider to visit the Garden Route as well!

Lovely lodge - good Food - great beach - good horses for riding. We have been there for 3 days. Only the invasion of a big group of 14 people at the last day (they were loud and unpolite) was a little problembut i can recommand Oyster bay lodge ufthere is no mass tourismus of a german group....
