A real gem of a place with Izzie and Peter being perfect hosts. Exmoor House is immaculately clean with attention to detail including a silent mini fridge in the room containing complimentary fresh milk, orange juice and water. The property has a guest lounge with pool table and mini bar, there is a pub and restaurant directly opposite too. Breakfast was sublime with fresh local produce perfectly cooked (just look at the double yoker eggs!). Highly recommended and excellent value.

A brilliant B & B. From the moment you walk in Izzy and Peter make you extremely welcome. The property appears to have been recently decorated and the room was very comfortable with lovely extras. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty.

Our hosts were both friendly and helpful throughout our stay, lending us wellies to visit Snowdrop Valley which we didn't know about beforehand and hadn't come prepared to walk along the paths which were occasionally muddy. Breakfasts were superb and our room was very comfortable. There was a plentiful supply of biscuits and teas and coffees in the room which could also be topped up from supplies on a table on the landing outside our room. A nice extra touch. There was also a communal lounge with games and puzzles together with a darts board and pool table for those who wished to use it. All in all, an excellent place to stay to explore Exmoor, the Lorna Donne country and the Coleridge Way.

Fantastic, thoughtful & comfortable stay - from being welcoming in the rain and helped with parking, the comfortable room, hot showers, putting on an early breakfast and general friendliness and detail all round - nothing was too much. A lovely couple and place. Many thanks Tom

My wife and I had a wonderful couple of nights in Exmoor House. Izzy and Peter were fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a super stay. The room was big and well stocked with thoughtful essentials, the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. The breakfast was lovely and filling, and they couldn't be kinder when I clumsily accidentally threw a cup of coffee over their cream carpet... :/ To top it off they also had an awesome 'Lounge Room' with a pool table, darts board and bar to keep guests entertained. (Haven't seen that before in a B&B) Highly recommended, if we found ourselves down that way again we'd definitely go back.

A lovely and clean hotel Peter and izzy are wonderful hosts making you feel so welcome. Beds are so comfortable, everything you need in your room from chocolates to slippers tea coffee biscuits are In great supply would definitely stay again beautiful place. Lovely people

We were looking for somewhere to stay near Wheddon Cross as a stop over on our way back up from a week in Cornwall. We know the area but had never stayed at Exmoor House B&B before.. We needed a dog friendly room and where please to see that they were dog friendly. Booking was easy online. Greeted by both Peter and Izzy on arrival and were made to feel very welcome.. The room (in fact the whole house) was very clean and you can clearly see the attention to detail and thought that had gone into making every guest feel at home. We had such a delightful stay we extended it for another day. The B&B exceeded our expectations in a small town. The home is lovely and well appointed, yet comfortable. Izzy was a gracious hostess, along with Peter’s breakfasts which were delicious. I simply could not find one fault or criticism. We will be back soon… thats a definite.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Staff are lovely the room is really nice. Fresh milk and biscuits and all kinds of tea are laid on. It even has a bar and pool table which was an unexpected surprise when we all got in from work. Totally recommended. Love it here.

Highly recommended accommodation. Spotless rooms comfy beds. Izzy and Pete go the extra mile. Rooms spacious with all the extras. Fridge with water,milk and orange juice. Great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Room extras included where chocolates biscuits toiletries. Breakfast couldn't be faulted great selection for everyone's taste. Nice quiet position with fabulous views. Visit you won't be disappointed. We will be back very soon.
