The Chumbi Mountain Retreat & Spa is a nice , well located property in Pelling with the best of amenities and warm hospitality , offering views of the Khangchendzonga range on a clear day . At the Restaurant-Mr Ashish , a friendly and interactive person , took good care and among others Ugen and Tula, rendered efficient services . Elena in Housekeeping and Biju Rai on the Front Desk worked proactively to make our stay comfortable

Had an excellent experience staying at Chumbi Mountain retreat & spa, Pelling. The staffs are very good and humble. The location of the property is perfect with an amazing view. Food is also nice. Highly recommended for family and couples.

I had booked two STUs at The Chumbi Mountain Retreat in Pelling, Sikkim, for four of us, and we stayed there on the 13th and 14th of April 2025. This resort is truly amazing and strategically located. One of the most breathtaking highlights was witnessing the full Kanchenjunga mountain range clearly visible in the early morning — an unforgettable experience. Pros: • Extremely well-maintained property • Prompt and efficient services • Courteous, polite, and helpful staff, including those managing food service • Exceptionally large bathrooms — bigger than what you'd find even in most 5-star deluxe hotels Cons: • Frequent power cuts in the evening, which disrupt activities like watching TV • Food prices are on the higher side, but the taste is rather flat and underwhelming • The food preparation and menu appear to be handled by a cook rather than a professional chef Overall: The property and views are spectacular, and the service is commendable. With some improvements in the culinary experience and power backup, this place could truly be unmatched.

The Chumbi Mountain Resort & Spa is a great property. It is located in a very good location with a very good view. Its staff is courteous, and the service is excellent. Food quality is also good. Rooms are spacious. Overall, this property is highly recommended for the family.

The staff are very disciplined and courteous and food was excellent. Rooms were good and neat and sitting area on different places were surprising. A perfect place for couples and family Would love to come back. A good club Mahindra associate property

Great ambience, helpful staff! Prangan and Sahil were really helpful and made our stay comfortable and cozy! You can see K2 peak directly from here , so the location is really good too - close to the Skywalk. Whoever is staying in Pelling, should consider it!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and traditional hospitality that set the tone for a truly memorable stay. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered a serene view of the mountains.The food served at the hotel was a delightful mix of local Sikkimese dishes.
