Grecotel Olympia Oasis & Aqua Park

Wonderful time!!! Best holidays ever! We want to stay here forever, everybody From The service is so nice and helpful, Grecotel staff is The best hosting we have ever met. Amazing Food - delicious greek meal at Taverna Tavernaki, italian at Cap Voyage and unforgetable expirience Of asian cousine at Asiana a la carte. There is no way to be on diet with you:))) A marvellous hotel, amazing views everywhere, perfect beach, the pools and the whole area very well looked after, with comfortable furniture and cushions everywhere to make sure you are as comfortable and blissfully lazy as possible. Delicious drinks in the bars with only original drinks. Thalasso spa I would recommend to any woman as a complement to pampering for the body - especially the 3 days detox programme - the girls made me feel like in heaven. My body is so grateful to you Angelika! We spend perfect week! Thank you for Marcus and his entertainment support :) Thank you Grecotel!!!! It is a really nice 5 stars hotel with a beautiful sea view! We choosed the All Inclusive lux me option and had everything from food to beverages. The conditiona are really good amd tne rooms are inceedibly clean every day after the room attendand came. The BonBon Bar has almost every day pancakes, gofres and icecream. The beach bar has great coctails and coffee. We had 3 a la carte restaurants that we schedules since arriving! The kids enjoyed the 3 pools and the aquapark! All employees are very respectful and nice! I would like to thank Maria from reception that helped us book our trip to Zakinthos! Also I would like to thanks to Magdalena who was very nice and pleasant and helped us to make a surprise to my husband dor his birthday! You are great! Thank you

Excellent facilities. Marvelous food options. Very nice and kind personnel. The Aquapark was excellent and kids really loved it. Swimming pools very clean and the beach was fantastic. Also the Mini Club (Kids Club) was very nice, with interesting activities.

The reception staff was nice and friendly. Special thanks to Petros & Maria! Overall hotel is old fashioned. I can imagine that 20 years ago when it was first opened it was considered luxurious. Rooms had Grohe wall-hung WC, Legrand sockets. But now it looks really old. The most annoying is the lack of power sockets in the rooms. I had to take out lamps in order to charge our phones. From our room you could directly go out to the yard with sea view (room 106). You can see it in the pictures. Weather is very good - warm but not to hot. The sea water is the warmest I have ever seen (afternoon). It has shallow water, so you need to go far if you want to swim properly. This warm sea alone covered all the downsides. Food is great, large variety. Though if you decide to eat in the open air terrace, you should know that there would be several bees during the breakfast time (but no one was bitten within 2 weeks). Aquapark is actually very good. Several staff members that deserve a bonus: shuffle car driver Dimitris, waffle maker girl with glasses, waitres with orange hair bow, the cleaning lady Dimitria (if I remember correctly, the one that is always smiling), and reception staff Petros & Maria.

GOOD FACILITIES. PERSONNEL ALWAYS KIND AND AVAILABLE. HOWEVER NONE OF THEM EVER SMILED. YOU COULD EASILY SEE THE TIREDNESS IN THEIR FACES. MANAGMENT SHOULD PAY ATTENTION ON THAT. IF I DO NOT CHOSE THE HOTEL IN THE FUTURE THE REASON WOULD BE NOT TO SEE TIRED FACES.

This was the REAL experience of vacation. There is no better way to spend time with your family. Already promised to my family we’ll be there again next year. It totally worths every single moment from early in the morning until late in the night.

Oustanding location directly on the beach. Wonderful crystal clear water and sandy well maintained beach. All restaurants facing the great view. Wirklich wunderschöne Lage! Food is great. All restaurants serve excellent food. The variety is fantastic. Only the souvlaki bar tends to have not the best meat quality. Asiana (L’Orient) was our favourite with excellent service and wonderful food. Unglaublich viele verschiedene Angebote- paintball, Aquapark, Tennis etc. Great variety of outdoor activities. Our rooms were wonderfully furnished and perfectly clean! The cleaning service did. a great job! Negative: The service and therefor atmosphere at the main restaurant! Tables not set properly, bird dirt on chairs and tables, dirty dishes are not been taken away (so that birds have always a reason to stay….), drinks are served very slowly, attitude not always polite. There seems to be no system in the restaurant. Sometimes 5-6 different waiters come to the same table, sometimes nobody. Try to go to the speciality restaurants- way better experience. Das Hauptrestaurant ist der Grund für unseren Sterneabzug. Wirklich schade, dass hier keine schönere Atmosphäre gestaltet werden kann. Teller bleiben ewig stehen- daher kommen auch die Spatzen dauernd an die Tische und hinterlassen dort ihr „Geschäft“… Getränke dauern lang, Kellner sind nicht immer gut gelaunt… Das Restaurant schmälert leider das Ressort insgesamt. The main restaurant is the reason why we do not give 5 stars to this Ressort.

To start with the positives: Amazing, sandy and clean beach. Well kept grounds with great views. Excellent, enjoyable waterslides for the whole family in the Aqua park with almost zero wait times. The rooms were OK - old furnishing but clean and a large, comfortable bathroom. Our rooms were far away from the main building which is a hassle. We were in the 670 range - be sure not to take rooms further down than 630 in the bungalow section. The a la carte restaurants were good - we went to the Italian (OK food, service could be improved) and the Greek Taverna (good food, excellent service) - be sure to reserve two weeks before your stay - when we did 3 days before arriving, there was already limited availability. Now for the problems: The service was really subpar in several elements. The whole place is staffed by 18-19 year olds, who seem to have little experience and even less guidance from adult professionals. This becomes evident with: 1. Long waits at the front desk, when you do get to someone they have to go ask the manager about everything. Then they promise to do something but don't, and you have to ask again. A simple, 2 minute luggage pickup from our room on checkout was 15 minutes late, after we arranged it the evening before. 2. The Buffet restaurant does not function well - their are too few waiters/busboys and no one seems to be managing them. The food selection was OK but you can't enjoy it when no one clears your table, drinks take too long to arrive, tables are not set correctly. We ended up just giving up on breakfast. Try to go to a la carte restaurants for all dinners. 3. A general feeling of a lack of generosity. It is all inclusive, but no one seems to be going out of their way for you to enjoy that. The coffee shop was never open during our stay. Reluctant service in the lobby bar on two separate occasions. Cart rides to the Aqua Park always full, with low frequency. We were questioned at the towel booth at the beach like we were trying to steal them.... With an overhaul of the service attitude and more professionally trained, motivated staff, this hotel would be great and would deserve a 5 star review.

Excellent stay in Grecotel! All were very well organized! It is the suitable place for summer vacations for families with kids but also for couples. High quality facilities in all the resort. Many activities for kids and adults. Delicious menu, with variability in tastes every day. The view from restaurant and Oasis Veranda is magnificent. Nights with music and parties are really enjoyful.
