We booked 2 family rooms Lashings of hot water Ample heating in fact we turned the heater off during the night We arrived in a storm so were unable to eat in the local pub so raided the Morrisons for drinks and snacks Rooms were clean beds comfortable Staff we met - Carol,Helen & Andrew were friendly & helpful They even welcomed our Whippet & Jack Russel which competitors don't. It was our 1st visit but won't be the last

I chose this as a single traveler as the price was very reasonable. The room was basic, no frills but fairly large, a very comfortable bed, soft fluffy towels, tv and tea making facilities so had everything I needed. I could hear background traffic noise but it was not intrusive. The nearby cafe didn't open until 8 am but there is a service station you can get food at if you choose to do your own breakfast, there is also a pub 5 minutes away for an evening meal. The staff were friendly and helpful so all in all a reasonable option for those seeking a budget stay.

This travel lodge is extremely basic... but it's also extremely cheap! You get what you are paying for at the end of the day and for £50 per night it did exactly what it said on the tin. Would recommend if you are just looking for somewhere to rest your head!

Comfortable room and clean, but shower curtain very old fashioned. Easy to park and good pub down the road called The Post for food. On the down sidet lousy TV reception and very few channels.

While the bed was comfy and we had a good sleep once we got used to the smell of damp, this hotel has many issues such as damp and condensation, leaking toilet and a TV that doesn't even get 4 channels. It's not acceptable but it's fine if you just need a place to stay on the way somewhere. Staff were lovely and did their best to keep it clean.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all friendly .Carol was very helpful with local information and suggested The Post Inn just down the road for our evening meal, it was very good. We would stay again on our next visit to the area.

Comfortable beds, clean room and conveniently just off the main road into Cornwall. Andy on check-in was lovely, despite it being 11 pm by the time we got there. Right next to Hog & Hedge restaurant which is very pleasant and serves good food.

Carol customer service was outstanding and went above and beyond to help me acquire an item to compete in a race, I was attending on the Saturday. Would stay again just because of how helpful and supportive she was. Please send my thanks again.

Room extremely clean compared to others I have stayed at,smelt fresh on arrival and a warm welcome by Andrew made us feel very welcome, a good night's stay overall I will continue to use this as our base when visiting this area, it's nice to see the care taken at this hotel, parking is free just remember to put your reg in at reception
