"In June of this year, I booked a bungalow at this resort for a trip to take place in May of 2025, and I paid a deposit. Unfortunately our plans changed, and on September 5, 2024, I canceled our reservation on line. To be on the safe side, that same day I emailed the resort and told them I had to cancel. It has been almost two months, and I have still not received a refund! I have emailed again but gotten no results. Beware!"

"We've stayed here 3 times and won't stay anywhere else. It's a 30-second walk to the beach, tucked behind the best restaurant in West Bay, Argentinian Grill. Free use of kayaks, gorgeous pool with jacuzzi, mini kitchen, balcony with hammock, table, and chairs. Staff (Jonathan, Xavier, and Vanesa) made our stay even more enjoyable with their enthusiasm and sense of humor. See you soon!"

"I just returned from Xxbalanque Resort on Roatan, Honduras with 5 of my childhood girlfriends. Our goal was to celebrate our ‘collective’ 70th birthdays in style! Little did we know, this trip would become a trip of a lifetime!!! Patsy, the resort owner AND builder, outdid herself in entertaining us with not only the most incredible accommodations, but food that was not only beautiful, but delicious, and suggestions (in which we, thankfully, engaged) of local activities. Several of the activities we enjoyed was a boat ride around the island on the Xxbalanque boat, Sound healing led by Mia on Patsy’s beautiful outdoor yoga pavilion, a catamaran ride (with our own chef) for a day of snorkeling, and a water taxi ride to West End for lunch & exploring! In between activities, we swam & sipped on delicious drinks served poolside. Friday night we were lucky enough to enjoy entertainment on Patsy’s new Fish Eye Lounge. Listening to a guitarist (Luis), and saxophonist (Al) play while watching the sunset over the ocean was spectacular!!! As a bonus treat, Patsy discovered we were celebrating our collective birthdays, and surprised us with a homemade Papaya cheesecake. If you’re looking for a small, intimate resort on the beach with endless opportunities, I hope you’ll check out Xxbalanque Resort. It’s the BEST!!!"
