Majestic Regency Resort

Staff was great and super helpful. I can't say enough good things about people like Aaron and Michele. Based on my stay, the rooms do not match what is showed in the pictures, so I'm not certain if only certain rooms look that way, or if the photos are more aspirational in nature.

This place was awful. We booked last minute and should have know better. The pictures online look nothing like the actual rooms. We were in an "updated" room. The stove was old and stained, cabinets peeling paint, dining chairs were stained. The lighting was dreadful and not enough of it. The bathroom sink and toilet were new but the tub looked to be very old with a school style drop ceiling. Floor around tub was dirty. I could go on and on. Stay someplace else.

We booked a last minute getaway, and this resort was the only place available. That should have been clue number one. The whole place is very run down, in serious need of a major renovation. It’s NOTHING like the pictures we saw online. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit but an extremely musty smell. There was a window air conditioner that we were hoping would help circulate the air and help with the musty smell, but it did not. Instead it was loud and didn’t really keep the room cool. It made for a tough night’s sleep. And to top it off to be woken up by dogs at the crack of dawn. We asked for a room with no pets next door. We ended up next to a room with two dogs and dogs below us. I love animals so don’t come at me, just don’t want to hear them while on vacation. And watch where you walk in the grass area. It seems no one cleaned up after their dog. We did use the pool, even though the area was less than inviting. All the patio umbrellas were broken. However the pool was clean and decent size. What this motel does have going for it is location. It’s close to the beach and restaurants. But in NO WAY would we stay again.

Great place to stay near Ogunquit Beach, Footbridge Beach and Moody Beach. Reasonably priced, clean, spacious, rooms near restaurants, sight seeing and fun things to do. Grounds are beautiful with a lovely pool, tennis court and bbq’s. Free parking.

Avoid this rat trap at all costs!! Disgusting and unsafe! This place needs a major renovation or tear down! Mold, bugs, transients, insufficient locks on the door. Everything about this place is absolutely dreadful!!!! This is hands down the worst hotel I've seen stayed at in yrs.

We read a lot of mixed reviews so we were nervous. They are doing lots of maintenance on property, new paint, new carpeting, new beds. We’ve stayed at worse places for more money. Great location, it’s walkable. There’s a pool, tennis and basketball courts, grills, fire pit, etc. All the amenities and location make it worth it. It was quiet too, walls are definitely not thin.

First of all it looks like they are renting rooms all year long « by the month » ….. and you know that’s a bad sign..!!!We have been coming here for way over 20 years and we have always been satisfied with the rooms, service, location and the ratio price/ quality was amazing! The continental breakfast offered fresh donuts from a local bakery as well as toast , jam, cereal juice and coffee! Well this year the housekeeper/cleaning lady gad to bring peanut butter from her because people complained too much! No donuts either! The friend we brought with us( since we had been telling him about this place for over twenty years) found a pair of very large men’s underwear at the foot if his bed under the sheets! When we were there last ( summer 2019) they had just redone the tennis court and now they have big enough shrubs growing out of playing surface! When one of the cleaning ladies arrived in her truck she reeked of pot abd boose! The grassy grounds looked like they were on fire at one point and looked like they were never raked from the previous fall! When i brought the underwear to the guy at the front desk he just picked them up and said «  Thanks »!!😧

This is the most disgusting place we have ever stayed! We reserved a two bedroom suite for ourselves and three grandsons to attend our son's wedding. The room we got had a hole punched in the bedroom door. The doors were dirty. Bathroom was tiny and disgusting. Shower didn't work. The chairs in the tiny kitchenette were broken and filthy. There was no phone in the room to call the office. My husband went to the office to complain about the ridiculously high price we paid for this dump. He was told they could switch our room but couldn't refund our money. The new room was slightly better, but still terrible. The tv didn't work and the clerk told us to unplug it and plug it back in a few times. We finally got it to work. There was a large filled dumpster at the end of the row of rooms with junk cars all around. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy!! I wish I could rate it a negative. It doesn't even deserve a one star.

I have travelled around the world since 2011 and I must say, this place was the worst customer service I have ever have to deal with. Huge lack of humanity, disrespect and mean. I would rather encourage an other business that deserve it. Also, they never answer the phone or emails.. I would definitely go stay at an other place.
