When we arrived at the property there was no staff to be seen at all, we walked inside the reception foyer called out hello and it was about 5 or so minutes until someone appeared, we had asked for an early check in but our room wasn’t ready so they asked us to come back in 30 minutes, we went and had some lunch and came back 1.5 hours later, the size of the room is good but the whole room wasn’t very clean, the toilet had no toilet paper or hand wash/body wash in the bottle and their were hairs all over the bathroom floor, the toilet had dirty marks all through it and the worst part was all the hairs in the bed and I’m not just talking hair from a head! And stains all over the sheets. We went down to the reception and asked for them to come up to our room and have a look at the bed and they asked us if we had been in the bed, we said no we hadn’t as we had just got back from the beach and anyway neither of us has black hair! Asked to speak to the manager and they made a phone call but we didn’t get to speak to anyone, they changed the whole bedding but it was obvious to us and them that they hadn’t changed the bedding after the last people staying in that room which is totally gross, we didn’t use the pool as it was kind of weird since it was at the front of the property. We were really disappointed as this was our final stay in Sri Lanka.
