The rooms are simple and clean, with a warm and comfortable wooden style, soft bedding, and plenty of hot water. The high-altitude environment is neither stuffy nor damp, and the facilities are practical and complete. The owner is genuinely warm and welcoming, without any pretense or perfunctory attitude. The breakfast is home-style and delicious, parking is convenient, and it's very close to the Yunnan Golden Monkey Park. Overall, it's unpretentious, offers great value for money, and avoids excessive commercialization. For those visiting Weixi to enjoy the scenery and unwind, this is a reliable and worry-free stay with a great experience."

"From Baima Snow Mountain to Benzilan to see Dongzhulin Temple, we arrived in Weixi in the evening and stayed at this cozy guesthouse with beautiful scenery and pastoral views. The guesthouse owners and their family were incredibly kind and hospitable; I highly recommend it to everyone staying in Weixi!! 【Environment and Facilities】The facilities were complete, the rooms were very clean, the bedding and towels were clean and comfortable, and each room had Wi-Fi. Although it's in the mountains, mosquitoes were well controlled. 【Food】All the ingredients were fresh, all-natural, and additive-free. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the guesthouse: stir-fried shredded pork with green peppers, stir-fried shredded potatoes, and matsutake mushroom and free-range chicken soup (the chickens here are so big they can climb trees! 🤣, and the leftovers from dinner were made into delicious chicken noodle soup for us the next morning). 【Service】The service was excellent! They proactively communicated and responded to all our needs. The owner's mother kept calling us to eat, making us feel right at home. 【Hiking】The mountains here are so beautiful. We wanted to go hiking in the forest. The owner's uncle led us into the mountains, unexpectedly acting as a guide, carrying our water and food, clearing the way, and introducing us to wild plants and medicinal herbs. Looking forward to coming again!"

"The hotel is quite large for the area, so the parking lot is also quite large, which is rare in the area, and can probably accommodate over 20 cars. The owner can arrange interactions with locals, home visits, and cultural heritage experiences. The bedding and toiletries are excellent. The shower has strong water pressure and plenty of water, and the shower floor drain drains quickly, preventing water from accumulating. Breakfast, tea/coffee, and meals by the fields are a fantastic setting. I found the breakfast delicious, featuring local, seasonal ingredients. Tacheng isn't as well-known as Shangri-La in Lijiang. At an altitude of around 2,400 meters, the climate is excellent, and it's definitely worth a 2-3 night stay to experience it all. You can hike, harvest, meditate, and more. Most importantly, local ethnic minorities (think Tibetans and Lisu) still live here. From your room or balcony, you can see the fields working in the distance. I have to say Songtsam's location is a sure win. (This is not a review of the Songtsam Hotel.) There are also many boutique B&Bs in the area, all very unique, so be sure to book in advance."

The mobile TV set-top box cannot be used and the remote control is out of power? There were also network problems and the bedside light switch was broken. 3. The shower head is broken... 4. The air conditioner doesn’t produce cold air at all… (deficient in fluorine)? 5. Breakfast is good 6. Parking spaces are tight 😓 7. The door does not have damping...it will scare people when the door next door is closed at night."

"A very satisfying stay! The guesthouse was newly renovated, the rooms were very spacious, and all the appliances were smart and convenient. The mattresses were also very comfortable, and most importantly, the windows were very soundproof! I slept wonderfully. I just forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looked exactly like the promotional photos. The view from the window was of beautiful mountains. The owners, an older man and woman, were very welcoming. Breakfast featured local specialties like butter tea and tsampa. I tried them and they were quite good. The butter tea didn't have the fishy smell often found in restaurants; it was very fragrant. The corn was freshly picked from the field, very sweet, and delicious! Overall, a huge thumbs up!"
