Room was very clean and tidy …. Lidl and aldi are near by.. there are no restaurants nearby and less public transport station

Hotel room was a little dated but so very clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was great also. Reception staff were so kind and helpful. We came to visit the Christmas markets in Basel. Taxis into Basel were quite expensive but we expected this but coming back in an uber saved some expense. Overall a clean and quiet hotel with lovely staff and quite close to airport. I would recommend to anyone intending to visit Basel.

It was on the French German border but hotel was too old and room amenities was from 1990s. Breakfast was not up to standard and would never recommend to stay again at a this property

teh area the hotel is located is not very nice. the hotel and the rooms are quite old. The beds are very good, I had a good sleep. The breakfast offering was delicious, food fresh and a good choice.

Great location close to the highway. Perfect for a short stay. However, AC was not working in most of the hotel.

I chose the Carahotel Basel Weil am Rhein because of the design and this was ok. Then the car park is expensive and you can't park anywhere nearby. People at the reception are not helpful and have no good attitude. They don't help with the luggage as well. The room was cold and even if it supposes to be a business hotel, you can’t share the room with a colleague, the shower is with glass in front of the bed. My booking was prepaid including tax, but we checked in they asked me to pay the city tax. In the morning I showed my booking and asked for a refund of the tax, but they didn't do it and said to my wife that they will send me an email and refund on the credit card. Anything happens so far! I'LL NOT STOP HERE AGAIN!!!

The staff was very friendly and helped me with every question. Breakfast was excellent. Close to the Swiss border.

The convenient location for transit is great. The reception was friendly. All requests were fulfilled. The second coffee now costs 3.80. I've never experienced that at a buffet before. It's gotten worse. Otherwise, breakfast was very good.

Clean, good motorway connection, free parking in the hotel's own car park was quite full, reception staff very friendly and helpful, a bottle of water in the room (free), breakfast was delicious

Hotel a little old, but clean and comfortable. Attentive and considerate welcome. The perfect and abundant breakfast. Warm service too. Delicious apples at the reception and for the departure: a very appreciated attention. The only thing missing is a charging station for electric cars...

The pictures hanging on the walls are awful. Not inviting at all, very demonic and it doesn't create a cozy atmosphere! The cleanliness of the room was not very good, hair on the bed cover! Another disadvantage is that the first coffee at breakfast is free and you have to pay afterwards.

3 elevators present of which all 3 did NOT work! Room near the stairwell where everyone had to go through doors slamming a lot of noise pollution and in addition you enter a dark room without lighting no signs where you have to go to find your room. Restaurant .... was also closed for 2 days, staff could not indicate why. Too bad this was not indicated in advance. The beds are perfect but furniture outdated dirty stains in carpet, in the bathroom a large crack in the sink. Very unfortunate. The night receptionist very very friendly young man who is very helpful. Breakfast .... makes everything right again.
