Хороший отель! Если добавить кондиционер в номер, было бы вообще отлично, ночью душно. Кормят неплохо, особенно удобно, когда шведский стол. Горячая вода по расписанию, но хотя бы есть. В некоторых других отелях вообще не бывает. Территория красивая, чистая и ухоженная, красивая подводная жизнь вокруг, маски и трубки в отеле выдают бесплатно. Пару дней там – отлично!

We were looking for a place not to far from the Fiji mainland and giving us a not too touristic but intimate island-feeling - the Barefoot Kuata Resort fully delivered on our request. First of all the service provided by the personell was unbelievable friendly and accomodating - starting with a welcome song and ending with a farewell song. It is not a luxury place, but clean and close to nature - you can learn a lot about Fiji nature and culture. You can visit a cave or walk up the mountain - caring about the marine and land life is a priority for the management team. The food provided varies between the days and you risk to gain some weight. Just in front of the resort you find nice place for snorkeling with freely provided snorkel gears. The dive tours are exceptional good, not only because of bull and reef sharks close to you, but because of the still good diversity of corals and fish - and the exceptional dive instructure Semi.

We booked in a bure for 5 nights starting 18/6. On 13/5 we were informed that we would have to change rooms twice in these 5 nights. We immediately emailed back to say to cancel the booking. NOTE - this date is OUTSIDE the 30 day cancellation period for a full refund. On 27/5 we were told we would not have to change rooms and did we still want to cancel. NOTE - this date is WITHIN the 30 day cancellation period for a full refund. On 28/5 we received an email notification that the booking had been cancelled and would receive a half refund as we were within the 30 day cancellation period. Be sure there is no possibility of cancelling before you book at this resort.

Spent two nights here after a work trip. Stayed in a beachfront bure. Accommodation was great - right on the beach - slide the doors open and step out onto the sand. Of course - people are coming for the shark dive - which I did and highly recommend. Very well run and organised - everyone felt very safe and well looked after - the dive shop seems exceptionally well run. The snorkelling with reef sharks was also a great trip as was the night snorkelling. In fact the night snorkel was exceptional - I 100% recommend this to anyone - the UV light brings the reef alive - it's like being in a dream. The staff here are awesome - rarely heard so much laughter, singing and so on - the staff really make the place feel so welcoming. Anyway - if you're hesitating about the shark dive - don't. do the night snorkel - it's a beautiful location - stay for a few days, snorkel with the puppies of the sea (white and black tipped sharks) and spend lots of time snorkelling the reef right in front of the resort, which is exceptional.

We stayed one night at this hotel, but we wish we never had to leave! Everything was perfect! The welcome was warm, with incredibly friendly staff, the setting was magical, and the food was excellent, just like the massages. The new bures are outstanding, with direct beach access, and this was probably our favorite spot in Fiji. We even had the chance to go snorkeling with sharks, which was an amazing experience! We would recommend this place without a moment’s hesitation!

I had a lovely time at the resort. The Beachfront Rai Ki Waya was an exceptional accommodation and I greatly recommend this bure. Food was lovely and staff was really friendly. Would love to go back there one day and also visit the sister resort Barefoot Manta

I absolutely loved our stay at Barefoot Kuata. There was something so magical about this island. Whilst we didn't partake in the Bull shark scuba dive, it was so fun to chat with other travellers about their experience and creates a great focal point for this island. The beautiful singing to accompany the meals, incredible sunrises and sunsets and free snorkel hire! Highly recommend a trek up the summit - it was hot and sweaty but great view at the top.
