Abad Brookside Wayanad

Had a wonderful stay at this Resort, all the services were top notch, staff were professional and made sure everything was taken care of, also just wanted to commend James, the restaurant manager James was very welcoming of my disabled father and accommodated him well. The disabled facilities at the resort were quite good, however getting to the restaurant was a bit tough by wheelchair. Staff was wonderful and i would 100 percent go again, food was excellent and the staff was nice and sincere.

The resort is located on the top of a hill near a tea estate and near a small brook hence the name "Brookside". While there is a 2 k.m stretch from the main road to the resort the drive is worth it. Set admist natural beauty the resort has natural flora and fauna while there is natural mist that covers the resort at all times. Our stay was for 2 days and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The best part was the food especially the complimentary breakfast.

I am writing to bring to your attention the current status of my stay at Abad Brookside Wayanad. Having stayed at numerous hotels and homestays around the world, I have never encountered an experience quite like this. I checked in on September 30, 2024, at your property in Wayanad to celebrate my wedding anniversary, arriving with high expectations. The check-in process was pleasant, and the staff at the counter welcomed us warmly. We proceeded to the restaurant for lunch, which we enjoyed, thanks to the attentive and smiling staff. However, upon collecting the key for our room, number 601 (pool villa), and entering, I was deeply disappointed. The room was in a deplorable state, with dirty walls and broken window locks in the hall, bedroom, and toilet. The floor was constantly wet, causing my daughter to slip and injure her head. Despite someone coming to repair the windows at 10 PM, the makeshift solution of placing bedsheets and cotton on the floor made us feel like we were staying in a bus station, not a 4-star property. This experience ruined our celebration and caused significant distress, especially since we travelled all the way from Dubai for this occasion. I would like to commend Mr. Shibu from the restaurant and Mr. Joshi, the resort manager, for their efforts to alleviate our discomfort. However, the overall experience was unacceptable. Given the circumstances i send email to Mr.Mansoor a Senior person in abad group he ignore and not replied to my email. Hospitality is zero and my request every one,pls do waste your money on abad Brook.you can get much better option in wayanad with good hospitality.

We stayed in this resort for two days. The location of the resort is inclined to nature.resort is providing transport from the highway to their location as it is present in offroad. Firstly the resort is surrounded by tea and coffee estates with scenic view. Amenities mentioned like Swimming pool,play area,water stream and other things are well maintained. Staff is really friendly.They are well trained in hospitality management. Food is good but they need to increase the options.

Awsome Hotel resort, what a location in side deep forest and on the mountains beside a jungle stream, it has serval cottages located away from each other which gives them privacy and uniqueness, mountains like Jurassic park movie can be seen from the resort itself, the swimming pool is perfect for kids and adult as well, the Manager was a great person, kind soft spoken and helpful, the food was awsome we all loved it, the staff were very polite and helpful... the main building comprises of game zone, reception, dinning restaurant and swimming pool, the location is such that you get away from the city or road noise and all the time you can hear is only jungle sounds of birds etc.. we were lucky to see Malabar Squrriel near the resort, I have not seen such a beautiful resort till now, great, hats off to ABAD for such a lovely stay and thanks to our tour managar Miss.Kanchan Mishra, Ms.Advaita and Rupshow Areo Services for giving us opportunity to visit such a lovely place on earth....

This is an awesome property right in the middle of wild rainforests of Lakkidi ranges, amidst the Western Ghats. If you are looking for experiencing pure unspoilt nature, there is no other place in Wayanad. Over the years we have stayed in numerous resorts in Wayanad District and must acknowledge this was one of the best. A natural pure water stream flows through the property which very quickly becomes favourite place to spend time with family and friends. We visited right at the onset of pre-monsoon rains, the entire resort was beaming with lush greenery. Around afternoon time the entire place was covered with misty clouds providing a rare experience. And the best part is ever smiling staff who would go the extra mile in making the guests comfortable. The Resort Manager Mr Joshy and his team at front desk, the restaurant manager and all the staff deserve an applaud for providing the guests a fantastic hospitality experience. Food is homely with a reasonable spread of North and South Indian options. Breakfast was decent and nicely cooked. The resort is around 3 Km up the hill in dense forest. This last mile stretch is not easily driveable, so the resort provides a secure parking facility near the highway from where their Jeep will pick you up and ferry to/from the resort. Unless you are an extremely experienced driver who can handle steep climbs on an off-roading mode and driving a SUV I would not recommend you to take a chance. Please do not risk driving your Sedans or low clearance cars up. The resort’s Jeep pick up and drop service with experienced drivers and staff is just awesome. If you are planning to get real Wayanad Jungles of Western Ghats experience, look no further than this place. Would love to visit again !
