Sterling Wayanad

⸻ We recently stayed at Sterling Wayanad and had a very pleasant experience. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort. The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful. A special mention to Dilip — his antics and cheerful attitude truly added to the fun of our stay! There are a few areas where improvements could be made: the food could be better in terms of taste and variety, and for coffee lovers, offering more premium coffee options would be a great addition. During our early morning checkout, there was a hiccup in applying a discount that had already been offered. However, the billing issue was sorted out at the earliest without much hassle. Overall, it was a lovely experience and with a few enhancements, Sterling Wayanad can be an even better choice for travelers.

Awesome Experience This property is huge, beautiful with full of greenery. Everything is great here with amenities and staffs r very co-operative they did so warm welcome at the entrance and staff listens everything very patiently specially Junalee Gogoi . Junalee is very soft spoken and good listener . First of all they were given room that we don’t like immediately they changed our room and all the things they did amazing. Breakfast also very delicious … if you come to Wayanad then pls keep your stay STERLING WAYANAD

Had a very pleasant stay for 2 days with my family The hospitality was really incredible, right from the front office, restaurant service, security, house keeping etc were kind and humble. Kudos to the management for training everyone prioritising customer respect and satisfaction. Bonfire, indoor activities (Karaoke, Laughter games) by Dileep helped us remain engaged with other fellow travellers. Thanks to Dileep and Dipti who kept my young one engaged throughout my stay. Icing on the cake was a surprise anniversary celebration by the hotel team. Thanks for making a memorable stay! Great job team!! Kudos again!

This was the best ever sterling resprt experience we had right from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The front desk staff received us with great warmth, theyhad kept all the formalities ready for a quick check in. The rooms were a delight very clean and simple mordern decor. The housekeeping staff was doing their best job. The resturant had good veg and jain options right from the resturant manager , chef to the serving staff like Nancy and Raju were so so courteous and always smiling and ready to help. Mr Dilip the entertainment incharge was a delight himself, Anisha , Neethu and the full front staff were best in their hospitality. Even the security gaurds at the gate were so polite and were trying to help us locate animals which we were so keen to see. In short it was a fanatastic trip we took with 3 other couples , the best ever in sterling , a must visit!!

Exactly a year ago, in Jan 2024, my husband and I spent the most memorable holiday at Sterling, Wayanad. Our one week long stay was made pampering in every possible way. Our room was comfortable, fish-pond facing and surrounded by ample flowering trees. Numerous birds, monkeys were regular visitors. The estate is lively and yet calm. There are sizeable areas of native trees. It looked as if they made an effort to not axe any tree if they could help it. The resort is across the road from a reserved forest area, where we had the chance to spot a baby elephant one late evening. The estate has long pepper vines growing around tree trunks, there are mulberry trees and each room is decorated with gorgeous doorways of flowering vines etc. it's just so soothing. The resort's housekeeping team did a great job, as did the recreation centre, where my husband and I found ourselves for long hours. Games, pool table, table tennis, cycling and so much more. There's swimming and spa available too. The massage treatment could have been better, but otherwise, our stay was great in every aspect. A special mention for the restaurant - they pampered us like anything. Not only the very wide-ranged buffets for breakfast and dinner, but also the staff (Boni, Bidan, Sumit etc.) that stood hand and foot for us, overstuffing us at every meal!! The food was always tasty (they had at least 5 different infused waters on offer every morning!) and the chef was kind enough to share the recipe of his lipsmacking pineapple and peanut chutney. On our last day, they surprised us with their sensational bamboo biryani. I still miss the staff so much, my best wishes to each of them. On our check-out, we were also presented with a thoughtful bag of food items to keep us well-fed through our journey back home. Not just that, I also walked away with loads of plant cuttings (they have female gardeners working on the estate!) for my home garden. Sterling Wayanad will always hold a special place in our memories. I have heartily recommended it to my friends and family.

We visited Sterling Wayanad in August 2024 during the Independence day long weekend. The property is within the Wayanad tiger reserve amidst the serene beauty of nature. After a long drive from Bangalore such an exhilarating welcome by the team at the property. Mr. Dileep with his unbeatable energy attending everyone personally and maintaining the property. Yet another advantage of the property is no network for mobile (a proper break from work) but they have high speed wifi access within the property. The resort features a unique butterfly garden that hosts a variety of vibrant species, a flower garden, a fish pond and a serene walking trail. The property is very accessible for senior citizens also as they have an electric buggy to transit within the property. Rooms are spacious and clean providing a view of lush greenery. The property has a multi-cuisine restaurant focusing on Malabar cuisine prepared from a blend of local flavours curated excellently by executive chef Mr. Sanjo Jose. He personally attends everyone and has a conversation during every meal. Sterling Wayanad is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort and natural beauty. Mr. Dileep, Mr. Sanjo Jose and their team is fantastic starting from arrival to departure personally attending everyone with exceptional hospitality. If you are looking for a serene escape closer to nature this resort fulfills in all fronts.
