Warburton Motel - Where Mid-Century Style Meets the Mountains

We absolutely loved our one night stay at The Warby. So much love has been put into the restoration and renovation of this 1966 motel and it really shows. So pleased they have been able to keep some of the original features too and add modern comforts. It’s super clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely white towels, very comfortable bed and everything just felt super cosy. Lovely grounds too. We’d love to stay again in warmer weather.

Booked a Superior Queen Room for 2 nights using the Motel's website at a costing of $157/night. Contactless check in with a msg sent & full info easily downloaded. They are right, every question was answered. If you need anything, then you need to text them. The motel is located on the corner of Warburton Hwy & Donna Buang Rd. Access is off Donna Buang Rd. Exit is on the Warburton Hwy No designated car parks. This is a 2 storey complex & we were allocated room 9 on the 2nd storey. It's a very comfortable room, nicely decorated. There are 2 doors back & front & both open out to a shared walkway. The view out the back looks on to lush trees & gardens. There's an openable window. The area is pretty quiet. The bed is comfortable & I notice an electric blanket are fitted. Theres an easy chair & a more upright one. The bar fridge has a mini bar &a courtesy tray with teas & coffees. Wifi is free & fast. The ensuite is small but works well. The toilettries provided are in plunger bottles. The motel provides a good base to explore the area. We enjoyed our accommodation & had a very comfortable stay

This vintage, (read “traditional,”) style motel was everything you could ask from this type of accommodation. Our room was pleasant with a lovely green outlook. The camp kitchen was very welcome. It was a very easy walk to a reception place down the road where we were attending a wedding, so proved perfect for us. Would certainly recommend it.

A lovingly-restored vintage motel in a beautiful setting. The gardens were just lovely, and we wish we had some more time to spend at the motel! Rooms are simple and clean. Mini bar prices are reasonable and access to additional crockery and cutlery was appreciated. Easy walk into the village and lots to see. We look forward to returning.
