Ibis Budget Salzburg Airport - Self-Check-IN

Stayed here many times, see past reviews. Summer 2022 was actually a nice stay. The shelf check-in for early arrival worked, AC worked (though it could be better). I certainly didn't hear any traffic. You can get better quality for this price but the location of this hotel is the winner for me.

As part of a visit to Austria. I had a booking for the Ibis budget Salzburg Airport Hotel for 1 night on Friday 14th January. With me due to catch a flight there in the morning. The hotel confirmation email offered check in from 1500. I arrived there around then to find the hotel closed. With reception due to open again at 1700, This was not made clear to me. Since I had previous emails asking how to find the hotel. After ringing the door bell, calling the hotel and sending emails. I finally called the other displayed telephone number to be answered by the hotel manager. Who gave me the accès code for the hotel door and the accès code to enter my room. Having checked myself in on a terminal. I'm not sure this is within the spirit of the current Covid regulations, but we are where we are If that was a surprise, there was more to come when I found that the booking did not include breakfast and there was none available for customers. The restaurant is closed This has not been made clear to me in the booking confirmations or my previous emails. I find these actions most strange and asked the hotel Manager for an explanation of the circumstances. The reply was along the lines of I am the only member of staff at the hotel. The price is cheap and the services offered are take it or leave it. If you wantef a better hotel you should have booked a more expensive hotel in the city at a more expensive price Now please leave my hotel. Goodbye. I find this attitude from the hotel manager to be most strange and astonishing to say the least. By not supplying the services offered is in my view a breach of contract made with me to stay at the hotel. Since what was advertised was not on offer at the hotel. I have asked the Salzburg City Council who license the hotel to comment on the hospitality of the hotel and, await their comments on the matter The breakfast times at the Hotel were also advertised and noted on my invoice and did not take place during my visit. This is not the type of welcome the hotel should extend to its customers and I certainly would not consider another visit. Never mind recommending it to anybody else.

Passei uma noite neste hotel em uma viagem de carro de Salzburg para Novigrad, e como é longe de tudo, acabei não aproveitando muito a estadia na cidade... O quarto e banheiro são bons e novos, existem mercados na volta embora eles fechem cedo, o acesso ao corredor onde fica o quarto é com senha o que torna bem seguro e tem maquininhas de bebida e snacks para quando o mercado está fechado... é bom para quem tem carro disponível (no meu caso, eu dependia da boa vontade da pessoa com quem eu estava viajando).

Leider war diesmal einiges nicht in Ordnung! Sauberkeit des Zimmers und des Duschbereiches, Ausstattung mit Hygieneartikel (nur 1 Stück Seife). Trotz abwarten von der Check-in-Uhrzeit (nach 15:00 Uhr) war niemand da, um die Mängel aufzuzeigen... Schlafqualität war aufgrund einer großen asiatischen Gruppe ganz schlecht. Die hatten die Nacht zum Tag gemacht (Geschrei, Gelächter die ganze Nacht hindurch)

Ondanks het rookverbod was er in de kamer een indringende rokersgeur waarneembaar, uit de kraan van de lavabo liep amper water.Airco werkte niet goed. Dit hotel zal ik aan niemand aanraden wij hebben er een slechte nacht gehad!

Ich habe oben schon erwähnt, dass Sie in einer Umfrage/Bewertung nichts erzwingen können/sollten, sonst ziehen Sie den Ärger des/der Befragten auf sich. Überlegen Sie dies. Das nächste Mal bekommen Sie von mir dazu NICHTS mehr.

Ora capisco perché rispetto ad altri hotel a Salisburgo questo è tra più economici! Lo definisco da incubo, sporchissimo, polvere ovunque, per terra sporco, appena arrivati abbiamo trovato delle briciole per terra e li sono rimaste, lenzuola sporche di sangue, asciugamani che puzzavano… puzza ovunque… la pulizia non sapete nemmeno cos’è! Ho viaggiato tanto in Europa, mai avuto un esperienza così pessima! LO SCONSIGLIO!

ist zwar nur ein Ibis Budget aber trotzdem sollte es sauber sein. Das Bad war sehr unrein, ich habe mir nicht getraut barfüßig zu laufen. Hab mich auch über eine alte Seife in der Dusche gewundert. Länger wie eine Nacht geht gar nicht. Im sommer sollte man die Unterkunft auch meiden, da die Klima nicht funktioniert.

Zimmer sind in Ordnung, großes Plus ist die Klimaanlage. 2 Kleine seifenstückchen als toilettartikel sind vorhanden, leider nicht body und showerlotion wie sie sonst schon fast in jedem hotel verfügbar sind. Getränke, snack und Kaffeeautomat gibt es auch, wobei der Kaffeeautomat keinen Kaffee hergibt sondern nur die Münzen schluckt Leider kann man vor Ort kein Frühstück dazubuchen, da man sich anscheinend noch zu sehr an Corona festhält, obwohl ja eigentlich alle getestet, genesen oder geimpft sind.
