Tree Top Walk Motel

We stayed overnight at this hotel after visiting the treetop walk. The room was spacious and immaculately clean with it's own parking space. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well. We are in the attached restaurant which serves Indian food. This made a nice change for us. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Thank you for a nice stay.

Nice central location with a great Indian restaurant. So if you want easy access to the tree top walk and some incredible beaches and walks. Nice hot showers with comfortable beds. This my go to motel in Walpole. Great bakery within a 2minute walk.

We liked the rooms here, because they were spacious and modern enough for our needs, and clean. However the beds were on the hard side and not the most comfortable. The adjacent restaurant proved to be a nice place for dinner, and is something I can recommend. There's a pool on site too, although it no longer has a hot tub.

I would rate this motel 3 1/2 as there were many positives. Initial impression when driving in, it was very clean and neat looking. The welcome was very friendly, and the owner gave us lots of information when we called in advance. We bought microwavable food, as we realized Walpole didn't offer much in the way of restaurants after a certain hour, and we were arriving a little late. There is not a kitchen, but there is a small refrigerator and microwave, which are all we needed for a one night stay. The room itself was clean, no complaints. The bathroom is the reason for the 3 rating. It was not terrible. Just sort of what you expect in old-style motels, no frills, and not the best water mixing. The bed was ok, I've slept on far worse. And I was very pleasantly surprised to find extra, comfortable pillows in the closet. So in closing, don't be scared off by 3 star reviews. This was a perfectly fine place to stay. Just don't expect luxury.
