The location is very good facing the Wakayama Castle, breakfast is ok, the price is very reasonable, highly recommended !

Value for money. For the price paid. Can't complain much as got free driving from Kada station to the hotel. Cons is need to get the pic from train station to call as the number on the Google map and the banner can't go through. Recommended to use the hotel transport as walking is too far. Pros everything. There is a laundry coin as well which save our life alot as we travel 3 weeks to Japan. Do note the awajima shrine is just beside this hotel. Must visit and do see the sunset and sunrise. When a typhoon hits Wakayama, there are no people on the street. There is a 711 behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The room is larger than expected, with a separate toilet and washroom. There is a small window, you can see the outdoor scenery, it can be opened for ventilation, and there is no wind or rain, which is perfect for typhoon days. We brought our baby to stay and ordered two breakfasts. The grandpa at the front desk directly gave us six breakfast coupons for two days. We were so touched, especially when we rushed here in the wind and rain. The breakfast is very rich, and I like the cold tofu and curry rice the most. There is also a self-service drink machine, and the Calpis soda is great! Will stay here again if I have the chance!

The usual Toyoko Inn standard, clean and tidy, first-class service, but the lobby is too small, and breakfast is served in the lobby, which is very crowded and affects the mood of enjoying breakfast.

It's an old hotel with good hygiene, average location and quiet surrounding. There is not much business around, and you have to go a little further to eat and drink. There are toiletries and maps in the lobby, which is quite convenient.

The hotel has a quiet environment and is suitable for self-driving tours. The rooms are comfortable and clean. When taking a shower, you have to boil the water and wait about 5 minutes for hot water. The hotel staff are very kind and they provide a welcome drink when you check in. The breakfast restaurant is on the fifth floor, the hot spring is on the third floor, there are massage chairs and coffee and tea buffets in the lounge on the second floor, and there is a souvenir shop in the lobby.

I spent two nights with my family during the Obon holiday. There is good access by route bus from Wakayama City Station, and it is convenient to get off at Masagocho bus stop or Prefectural Office Main Gate. There is a convenience store nearby, so the location is good. The staff was very kind and courteous throughout my stay, and I felt very comfortable. Not only the rooms but also every corner of the hotel is thoroughly cleaned, so you can spend your time in a clean environment. One disappointing point is the aging of the air conditioning equipment. Even when set to MAX, the room temperature never dropped below 26℃. They kindly accommodated my request for a room change, but they did not resolve the issue. However, we were able to get through the tropical night by being lent a circulator. Due to the air conditioning, the facility's rating is a little low, but if you change the season, I think it would be a perfect score. I would like to use it again in the cooler months.

Location is very good and near JR station. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. However, there is no Onsen or public bath. Bathroom is rather small. Overall it’s good value for the money paid :)

As soon as I entered the corridor and buried the room, I already felt good. There is a small entrance before entering the room, and I feel that the design is very meticulous. Sitting on the terrace listening to the sound of the rain feels good healing, and after the heavy rain, the sound of the waves is even more intoxicated. There are some thoughts, open a terrace glass door, and listen to the sound of the waves. If it is not a big rain, the weather is a little cold, it is really a stage bath. Breakfast with sea view and dinner, preparation, all Greek dishes, very careful, super satisfied.

A typical traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. The facilities are not new but they are very clean and hygienic. The room has an incomparable sea view, and the hot spring facing the sea makes people feel the peaceful atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast were very exquisite and delicious, but not very luxurious. The location is far away from Wakayama JR. We made an appointment in advance for the hotel's pick-up and drop-off service. Otherwise, apart from taxis, we don't know what public transportation is available to the hotel. It seems that self-driving travel is more suitable.
