The Swan Hotel

After visiting The Ship Inn on a number of occasions last year, we joined their loyalty scheme as food and hospitality were excellent! We decided to visit The Swan Hotel an allied pub operating this loyalty scheme. Upon entering, a woman I assumed to be in charge, was assisting an e.ployee with an order. My partner took a seat and I gave her a menu. Meanwhile I waited patiently at the bar. This woman was helping to serve a couple. At no stage did she speak to me to offer a note of acknowledgement, or say "be with you in a minute" We waited to be asked for our order for a good 10 mins. Nothing was forthcoming, we were made to feel invisible!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED after all the hype we received following our joining the hospitality scheme.

Had an amazing time at the Swan Hotel, food and coffee was amazing with very generous servings. The chicken curry and fish and chips were absolutely brilliant With an excellent service from Mark, couldn't ask for more. Will definitely come again and highly recommend.

Had an incredible meal at The Swan Inn on 17th August for a last minute late decision for my wife's birthday. We both ordered lasagne which were so so tasty! And some chips which were delicious too. It was late so we were thrilled to find they were still cooking. The best part was Mark who spent time talking to us, making us laugh and feel comfortable. He's a real credit to the place. We'll be back! Highly recommend trying it.

Once again after a nice walk along the Camel Trail. Popped into The Swan for Lunch. Greeted by Zoe with lovely smile and welcome. Ordered food. I had the Lasagne....My Friend had the Mixed Grill...when it arrived was not disappointed. Lovely as always. Great value. Well presented. Well done to Natalie and Zoe .... We shall be back again very soon.... 😊

Excellent surroundings...Great food.... Wonderful friendly Staff. Especially Zoe who always greets you with a welcoming Smile. Fantastic service... Great Menu. Good value for money... A very good reward scheme... Highly recomend if you are in the area....

Staff were friendly, food was amazing and excellent value for money. We were fitted in at short notice as another local restaurant refused to accommodate such a large booking. Thank you very much! 😊😊 Restaurant was very clean and fresh looking, lovely local pub! The food was plenty full and full of flavour. Veg was fresh and seasonal, extra peas & carrots (separate to the veg delivered) were requested and came out hot. Every request was accommodated! Pudding was stunning and themed to Easter, flavoursome and hit the spot! We came as a party of 7, other friends joined us and the staff were welcoming to the others joining us. Tables were pulled up so they could join us.
