The resort is located 30 minutes from Hvar main city. It’s more of a family type resort, so it can get a bit noisy with the kids running around. The room was nice and good view as well. The food was really amazing. We got the all inclusive deal and it was worth it. The stuff was very friendly and proactive

This was our third visit to The Labranda Senses Resort Hvar.
We love this resort for its location,The facilities and most of all the friendly staff.
The hotel offers an all inclusive board basis,which on each occasion we have enjoyed.The food at the resteraunt was excellent,a varied choice at every sitting.
The rooms are comfortable ,clean and very quiet.
They have all watersports available,bikes for hire and scuba diving for those keen to explore the crystal clear water.
The hotel is a short walk into Vrboska town ,which has some lovely resteraunts and bars dotted along the seafront.
Buses run from Vrboska via Starigrad to Hvar town ,which has its famous port and some great sights to see.
They have dedicated staff in the reception to organise boat tours ,wine tours ,car hire .They are very knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction.
All in all,it's a great place to stay,and we will certainly be returning next year to enjoy everything the Labranda has to offer.

Beautiful scenic view from our room on top floor in B block, plentiful of sunbeds and a chill out zone by the pool, variety of food available in the restaurant, clean rooms and altogether a positive experience. can wait to come back in August.

This resort is under new ownership which we understand started this May. We arrived in the middle of May and daily noted improvements. Firstly, the food in the restaurant was really good and varied. There was always a selection of local and international dishes. We particularly enjoyed the local fish dishes. There were 6 separate self service food counters at every meal. Wine beer and soft drinks were available on tap during mealtimes. The wine was OK but the beer was good. The pool was crystal clear and there are lots of activities to get involved in. Bicycle hire (which we loved for exploring the island), kayaks, paddle boards, mini golf, tennis, basket ball, spa and gym. As we were leaving an inflatable water activity island was being set up. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room and as it could not be fixed that day we were moved immediately to a new room. The resort is in a stunning location with beautiful sea views. The nearby fishing village of Vrboska is a gentle 20 minute stroll along a coastal path. There you will find a good selection of bars and restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and and would recommend this resort.

INSPECT THE BEDS FIRST!!! I would advise anybody who is think about staying here to inspect their beds . Badly stained mattresses! Stayed in Block C . It took 5 rooms to get a still average room after taking photos to show reception staff and manager. Shower Tray - stained brown! Dirty Limescale around base of shower! Stained Carpets. Marked , Stained Curtains Spiders , centipedes, earwigs and ants! Musty smell Bland, uncared for . More like a student Block. NOT a heated pool. Tea & Coffee not included in all inclusive!

Lovely hotel in idyllic surroundings nestled in woodland. Staff were so friendly and helpful, always smiling and nothing too much trouble. We really enjoyed the food, great variety and different every night. Some could've been hotter though. The rooms were large, bright and clean, the shower hot and powerful. Really liked having a fridge and safe in the room as well as air-conditioning included in the room price, so nothing extra to pay. WiFi throughout the complex was excellent too.

Absolutely gorgeous stay here. The rooms are big and clean. The restaurant and food was excellent, plenty of choice. The Staff are so friendly and helpful. From the hotel there are several walks, for going further away you have to walk 20 / 30 mins to the next town for the bus. However that's not a hardship, what better than walking along the waters edge on a pavement. To sum up excellent get away from it location and as for the previous negative reviews, obviously everybody doesn't want a great place to stay!!

Having read the recent reviews for this hotel I was not expecting much when we arrived. However I feel most of the reviews are way too harsh on this hotel. Is it 4 star - no but most European hotels claim to be something they are not. It is however clean, good showers, comfortable bed, air con and lovely views Food - is it amazing - no, but did you pay for amazing?? The food was relatively basic but always a good selection of salads, fresh fruit, bread etc. on each of the 5 days we were there there were different main course each evening. Drinks - red wine very poor. Local beer very good. White wine OK. Cocktails good. All premium drinks ridiculously over priced Layout of hotel is a bit strange but the location of the hotel nestled in a pine forest is lovely. Pool - spotless, plenty of beds and umbrellas - not heated but really not that cold either. Service - with the exception of the receptionist and manager they were very good, yes they need some polishing but they were always smiling and polite. Receptionist needs to learn about a warm welcome and also try to solve issues rather than just reply no. Manager walking around looking important but not actually doing anything. Overall we had a great CHEAP break. For the money I think it was excellent. There were a lot of Saga/ Voyage Prive customers when we were there and I imagine for the price they paid they would have expected better however that’s more down to Saga etc than the hotel. Finally a must do is to hire the water taxi to explore. Amazing views, friendly Skipper and good value compared to taxis.
