Very good apartment except stress at the beginning when the registration was a little complicated especially that we were too tired after having passed hundreds of kilometres and thought that to go to bed

The fire alarm in the 6th floor corridor went off twice during the night, at around 3am and 6am, the first time ringing for over 15 minutes and the second time for a little less, without being able to contact reception and when after several attempts they picked up the phone, they answered “false alarm, it’s coming, it’s coming” and continued ringing for another 5 minutes. What a night! The next day, when we left the hotel, not one apology.

Good location, close to the city centre. Basic rooms, double bed was quite small and the pillows flat. When asked in reception for extra towels for the outdoor pool they didn’t give them and only offered to use the bathroom towels and exchange for clean ones after. Tooftop pool is a paddle pool (water level reached my knees). Clean overall.

Like all Ibis hotels, it does the job. Comfortable rooms at a reasonable price with cheap breakfast provided if wanted. Location is a little bit out the town centre but not insufferably far.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room layout is perfect, elegant without losing sentiment, and the service is thoughtful, making people extremely comfortable. It creates a sense of home for me. No matter how big or small it is, it is impeccable and the price is reasonable.

All perfect, I just miss the restaurant !

Excellent location, a good experience, super central location

Located in the residential neighborhood of Lakua and with easy access to the city center, since the tram stop is in front of the hotel and at the exit of the city due to its proximity to the highway.The modern furniture of the Duque de Wellington hotel creates an elegant and simple atmosphere with wooden floors, minimalist decoration and intelligent use of light throughout the building. The large windows in the common areas will allow you to enjoy light and airy spaces during your stay.All rooms have air conditioning, Smart TV and private bathroom.The entire hotel is a nonsmoking space and failure to comply with this regulation will be punished.We have reception during the day (except Sundays and holidays when we are only in the morning). To check-in outside these hours, we have a self-check-in machine at the hotel entrance.The closest points of interest are the Txagorritxu hospital, the Basque Government and the bus station.
