Super place and Maria and Anna and everyone are top class it's fantastic. Diago and elena and everyone in reception are super helpful. I really recommend that you book your holiday with them! Booked via Love Holidays. Complex iis lovely but disappointed in our 2 bed apartment which was accessed via one external flight of stairs. Once in there is a living room and kitchen the up a flight of steep narrow winding stairs to the 2 bedrooms then up another flight iof narrow steep winding stairs to sun roof. Not ideal for anyone with mobile issues. Apartment was dated with one wall in living room bulging and broken, light switches not attached to walls properly and not working. Quilt cover stained. Beds lpy and uncomfortable. Sunbeds broken. No welcome pack and no cleaning service or towel changes. No secure luggage holding area for those with late flights home. Luggage left outside Reception building. Apartment issues reported to Reception who organised fixing of light switches and quilt cover change. Other issues still outstanding by the end of our week. Advice for future to double check accommodation when booking.

Just back after a week in the OLD VILLAGE PRESTIGE. When we booked this, we did not know alot about it so just booked it. The old village looks really quaint with all houses and apartments with rooftop sunbathing areas. We did not get to see any of these apartments as we were in OLD VILLAGE PRESTIGE. We were in apartment 312 which was like private apartments as there was a locked gate into these. The apartment was very spacious. I suppose nothing very modern. Definately a bit dated. These apartments are not cleaned while you are there and towels are only changed once in the week. I suppose that was ok as there was only 2 of us and we kept it clean and tidy ourselves. There is a pool but no sun loungers around it , which we found kind of strange. We used our rooftop balcony most of the time. There are other pools around the village but we were not allowed into them and they did have loungers. I thought maybe, when it's off season, we should have been allowed use any of the pools. After settling in, we enjoyed our stay. We had drink in JAKKs bar most nights and we eat in 2 of the restaurants there and all was very good. It is a lovey complex. We went into Villamoura alot as we take no notice of walking. It is only about 10 mins. We will certainly return to Villamoura. Will we stay in The Old Village ?? We still undecided.

Just got back from a two week vacation in Old Village Prestige, felt let down by the amount of guests who were not staying on Prestige using the pool Garden’s kept nice apart from the odd dog mess which is strange because dogs are not allowed on this complex

Amazing! I’d highly recommend these apartments, my partner and I stayed here for 1 week , we got one of the top floor apartments, amazing views ! This apartment had everything we needed , very clean village , it’s absolutely gorgeous, beautiful flowers & gardens also , the apartment had Big kitchen with fridge freezer, kettle , microwave, dish washer, washing machine , cutlery, pots & pans , plates , glasses etc , brush & pan , pegs etc Bedroom had decent size bed which wasn’t too comfy, plenty of storage space for clothes Bathroom had the usual toilet , sink , bidet , bath & shower , they also supplied towels 2 bath & 2 hand , toilet rolls also first aid box & hairdryer . No shower gel or shampoos supplied Living Room was very spacious, 2 big sofas , tv with British channels & wifi available. Dining table with 6 chairs Balcony had a table with 4 chairs and 2 brollies , round the side of the balcony there was additional space where I used to dry my clothes with the clothes horse they also supplied . Rooftop had table with 4 chairs and 3 sunbeds , they also supplied sunbed cushions. Pools , 3 pools were at this village My only downfall is the 30 min walk to the marina , we done loads of walking so suitable footwear is needed . I will definitely be coming back it’s absolutely beautiful and so was the weather .

I have stayed at the old village previously and had a lovely experience however this time I had the misfortune to rent an apartment through Live in Holidays, as the apartment was rented through booking we did not know who we’d be dealing with! They were awful just awful I cannot even put into word how terrible the experience was with them. We were left waiting 2 and a half hours for our apartment with not so much as sorry! When we eventually got there it was grubby, shabby and not particularly clean. The stairs were also a death trap with small children. My daughter also found open tablets under her bed (which had obviously not been cleaned) and luckily she brought them straight to me. I complained and got nothing only excuses! They do not care about there customers and we’re just awful to deal with. Please please do yourself a favor and avoid if you can we were so disappointed.

A bit of a trek to the beach and marina, 30-40 minute walk but there is a little train bus daily excluding Sundays from The Old Village. I do really like the layout of this village, everything is on hand eg supermarket, 3 bars and restaurants, bakery . Some of the rooms are a bit dated but others aren’t but they are all clean and have everything required. Great pools, 3 pools, 2 with bar and snack service, unsure why they charge for sun beds but hey ho, €2 half a day and €4 for a full day. Also no maid service; they are fully contained self catering units including washing machines so I guess you have to wash your own towels! Restaurants on site are nice and average priced. Also, Ubers are a great way to get about if you don’t like walking or have teenagers that don’t! I would definitely return to the Old Village. The agents at Live4Holidays are really nice too especially Sandra who was patient with me speaking in Portuguese as I am learning the language.

This review is specifically for Rentals @ Liveinholidays- more importantly Beatriz Nunes- the customer care representative who looked after us. The apartment was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very professional in all aspects of our stay. She made sure we had suitable apartments for my elderly parents and that we were staying near each other. We have been to the old village in Vilamoura numerous times and can't wait to return. Here just now and weather is lovely. Complex is nice. We booked through *********** which partners with villas 4 u and you get allocated apartments. We unfortunately are above a pub, opposite another and the supermarket at the side of us . 4c church square which if you don’t mind being woke up early and have 2 different types of music playing from 10am - 1am then it’s perfect but if not is avoid. We are only here for 5 days and checked in in a Sunday and the letting agent didn’t work that day so we had no choice but to stay that night and unpacked and only here for a few days otherwise would ask to be moved.
