ROBINSON QUINTA DA RIA - All Inclusive

Wow OUTSTANDING!!!! Far exceeded our expectations. On arrival late evening Luca in reception could not of been any more welcoming. We were checked in and welcomed straight into the restaurant for late dining. He honestly made us feel so welcome. The food at the hotel is of an exceptional standard and we were wowed by all the little touches that the hotel provide during your stay especially on Luhana evening. The staff are so extremely friendly and Rethath and Paola are a credit to the hotel for such a warm and caring approach to guests. The manager of the hotel should be praised for being so accessible and for caring so much about the guests experience - he is a credit to the Robinson hotel chain. Would recommend anyone stay here for a relaxing five star experience. Cannot fault our week and will return again !!!! Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Amazing hotel and the half way beach stop was also a wow factor!

Second visit to Robinson Quinta da Ria and was not disappointed. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by a team who want to make your holiday the best it can be. A friendly welcome and a glass of fizz on arrival whilst you are checked in. The rooms are not the biggest but spacious nonetheless, we had a first floor balcony overlooking the golf course. Other rooms overlook communal gardens and green spaces. The grounds are well cared for and border the edge of the two golf courses. Even for a non golfer it’s a nice environment with great views across the golf course to the Atlantic. The main pool is warm and inviting, big enough to do lengths without disturbing other swimmers. There’s also a ln indoor pool in the well fit studio. The food is buffet self serve with plenty of choice to suit all diets and tastes with plenty for vegetarians and vegans. The bread selection is wonderful as is the salad bar. The only slight downside could be that the restaurant doesn’t open until 1930 in the evenings. This appears to be a European custom and some UK visitors may find this odd for the first few days, but once you get used to the Le Mana start sprint for the tables, if the weather is fine you should have no problem finding a table. There is a small local beach that is 30 minute walk away through the golf course, those not wanting to walk can take the complementary buggy ride. If you want to visit the Atlantic Beach, you can take the land train from reception and a boat across the creek. There are also cycle and other excursions for those who fancy a trip away from the complex. All in all a great place to relax in a family friendly environment. I’ll certainly be back.

We have stayed in many all inclusive hotels and this is one of the best. The grounds are lovely; it was good to be able to walk to the beach truck along the path skirting the golf course and then down to the Ria Formosa where there are hundreds of little crabs and many different bird species. We took the hotel’s little “train” and then boat over to the beach by the sea one day (3€ per person) for a change, but it was very hot and no shade once there unless you hire a sunbed and umbrella. The room was not big, but modern, with very comfortable beds. Good shower, separate toilet, large balcony overlooking beautiful trees. We did not play golf but participated in a few of the numerous activities such as yoga, zumba and frisby-golf. We were the only English people at these activities, but the staff were very accommodating to translate instructions once told. There is an assumption that everyone is German because most people are. It didn’t spoil our holiday because we are not particularly chatty. All staff were smiling and helpful. The food was very good indeed. Fresh, tasty and varied. The best food at an all inclusive that I have experienced. The drinks were very good too. A lot of effort goes into the themed evenings and most guests join in with the dress code, so check the hotel app before arriving if you want to know what the themes are. We didn’t go to the shows in the theatre, but the house band played by the pool and were good, as were the djs. I liked the evening atmosphere at the pool bar. The pool isn’t huge but was never too crowded. The general feel of the place was relaxed; not too many rules and regulations (do whatever you want as long as you are respectful) and people seemed to respond well to that. If I had to find any minor suggestions for improvements it would be that the bath towels could be bigger and the air conditioning could be better. I did get bitten quite a few times, so consider bringing insect repellent. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

The rudest little golf jockey who thinks he runs the hotel accosted us. Once while playing golf to see we had paid, which we had and today again. He has lost a huge contract from our business for this lovely resort. I felt like it was run by the abrasive gestapo and not the normal kind and friendly Portuguese people. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it unless you are German and enjoy an abrasive rude , little golf coach treating you with disrespect.

A Truly Fantastic Getaway at ROBINSON Quinta da Ria We had an absolutely wonderful time at ROBINSON Quinta da Ria—it was truly a fantastic escape from reality. We were deeply impressed by the quietness, peaceful atmosphere, and overall comfort of the resort. It provided exactly the kind of rest and relaxation we needed. Our days were spent enjoying the beach truck with its breathtaking view, which quickly became one of our favorite spots. Evenings were all about indulging in delicious food and wine, especially at the Pousada specialty restaurant—what an exceptional culinary experience! The service throughout our stay was outstanding. A huge thank you to Matthias and Telmo for their warm hospitality and for making our visit so special. The front office team was incredibly friendly and always ready to help—thank you, Sara, for your excellent work. We also appreciated the lovely conversations and attentive care from Jonathan in Guest Relations—thank you for always being there. A heartfelt thank you to Monique for arranging a surprise for us—it meant a lot and made our stay even more memorable. Aderito, your salmon and burgers were amazing! And to the entire Food & Beverage team, thank you for your great service. A special shoutout to João for the wonderful red wine recommendation—it was fantastic. This resort is truly a gem, and if we get the chance, we will definitely be coming back. One important thing to add: I’m not a golf player, but this vacation was so incredible that I’m now even considering trying it, especially after watching the other guests' enthusiasm and seeing the stunning golf courses.
