Passionate hosts
Great location for those with cars or bicycles. Hosts provided local information that was either historically fascinating or super useful. There is a 1,200 year old olive tree on the property, a special orange species in their grove (wonderful orange juice), and we experienced very many facets to their warm welcome in our 2 night stay. This included making a special bean dish for breakfast for a vegan.

Incrível!!! Desde o visual, cercado pelas vinhas até o conforto da cama, chuveiro e travesseiros, passando pela gentileza em oferecer uma garrafa do vinho da própria Quinta das Ratoeiras, às gatinhas que habitam a vinícola, terminando com um café da manhã cheio de carinho, com compotas caseiras, bolo e o melhor suco de laranja da vida. Vale muito vivenciar esta experiência!

Exceptional service.
The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived later than we had told the host, but Pedro was waiting for us and appeared within seconds of us getting out of the car. He explained everything and even showed us how to work the shower (which is lovely). The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home made preserves, was simple and perfect.
We had a little terrace with two chairs, overlooking the vineyard, where we would watch the sunset and stars. The only thing that could have improved the experience, would have been a small light table to put drinks on.
There was a complementary bottle of water and a bottle of the vineyards wine, which was a lovely touch.
If you want a peaceful stay, this is the place to be. Thank you Pedro.

Pedro who is host was very kind and nice. Hotel condition is a little bit old, but the room size and facility was not bad. I saw a lot of stars in the sky at night. If you want to take a rest in silent, I recommend here.
