This was probably once a grand old place but sadly now all a bit shabby and old fashioned. It’s well positioned in the town and our room was enormous, as was the bathroom. It was clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view over the Opera; but the curtains were faded and torn, the wallpaper felt like it was clinging on for dear life and the paintwork was in dire need of attention. It looked like they had started updating the bedside lighting but the switches didn’t connect to anything. We had not one but two elderly land- line phones but no charging points and few convenient outlets for plugs. We did struggle with language issues - advertised as ‘English spoken’ which didn’t appear to be the case, but that at least was our problem to put right!

C'est une étape dont franchement il serait dommage de se priver à Vichy. Bien sûr, cet extraordinaire ancien palace est défraîchi (dernière rénovation en 1990) mais les chambres restent spacieuses propres et confortables (bonne literie, salle de bain correcte). Balcon et vue sur le parc et l'opéra pour les meilleures chambres. Hall d'accueil majestueux, salle de restaurant et de petit-déjeuner impressionnante, cage d'escalier fantastique (on en ferait un appartement parisien à chaque étage!), décors et lustres d'origine. Pdj très correct, prix très compétitifs, emplacement au top bar "anglais" pour remonter dans le temps. On peut préférer un hôtel classique mais l'Aletti reste un endroit rare dont il faut savoir profiter. A noter: travaux en cours devant l'hôtel (rénovation complète du parc des sources), seront terminés en mai. Rien de trop gênant pour notre séjour.

Un des dernier palace rester dans le jus des années 70 Cela change des chaînes hoteliere Il ne faut pas voir les détails de finition mais le charme inter temporel Les chambres sont très grandes Les salles de bains modernes , le bar est remarquable . Ancien palace qui ne vaut guère plus aujourd’hui qu’un modeste 3 étoiles, dès l’accès par la « vieille » porte à tambour, au vernis usé, difficile à franchir avec une valise, on perçoit une ambiance un peu tristounette bien que l’accueil soit extrêmement courtois, la vaste chambre montre également quelques signes de « fatigue » mais l’équipement est complet même si le fonctionnement des sanitaires s’avère capricieux, le petit-déjeuner est simple mais satisfaisant.

Nous avons déjeuné en couple au restaurant de l’hôtel un vendredi midi. L'accueil était assez déplorable et plutôt froid (alors que nous étions les seuls clients ce jour-là !). La dame qui assurait le service n’était pas du tout souriante. La cuisine était bonne, sans plus. Gros bémol pour la radio : on ne peut pas être un hôtel 4 étoiles et garder la radio allumée avec des publicités ! Il serait mieux de privilégier une playlist musicale, bien plus élegant. J’espère que l’Aletti Palace pourra un jour retrouver son standing d’antan.

Bonjour, Séjour d'une nuit avec diner et petit déjeuner: Dés notre arrivée dans la chambre plusieurs points nous sautent aux yeux: - Une bouteille de vins ouverte et à demi consommé est présente dans le mini frigo. - Trace d'infiltration d'eau et salpêtre niveau corniche dans la chambre. - Fauteuils déchirés. - Trace de sang d'insectes sur les rideaux. - Balcon décrépit et morceaux de plâtre instables - Lors du diner, une entrée froide nous a été servie, après avoir fait remarqué à la serveuse que le plat piquait douteusement et qu'il n'était pas mangeable, celle-ci revient vers nous ensuite en nous indiquant qu'elle avait gouté avec le chef et que pour eux il n'y avait pas de problème (lunaire). - Mobiliers désuet et abimés dans l'ensemble. fauteuil du bar déchiré et defectueux. En résumé, séjour très décevant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles au sobriquet de Palace.

Wunderschönes, altes Hotel. In die Jahre gekommen, aber mit viel Charme. Gemütliche Bar. Tolle Lage. Ich fand es klasse. Wie möchten zurückkommen, wenn die Arbeiten der Stadt Vichy im Kurpark abgeschlossen sind. Im Frühling oder Sommer muss es hier wunderschön sein. Wir waren im Okt 2024 da.

Vichy comptait, dans ses belles années, près de dix Palaces. L’hôtel Aletti est les dernier d’entre eux, et garde de beaux restes: façade majestueuses, vaste hall, salle à manger monumentale, chambres spacieuses (beaucoup d’entre elles font plus de 30m2, avec très grandes salles de bains et WC séparés; demander la 421, qui a un superbe balcon et une vue grandiose sur le toit de l’Opera). Tout est dans son jus, même si les chambres ont été restaurées. Seule manque la climatisation, mais à Vichy, les grandes chaleurs ne sont pas fréquentes. Prix particulièrement doux.
