Hotel Nørrevang

Nice hotel, very friendly staff who made you so welcome. The room was nice, we had a room in a “new” building with private terrace and a kettle so you could make your morning coffee. Nice bathroom, very nice breakfast. There is also a restaurant open for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is also very good, not like all the pizza places. The most beautiful beach is only 700 meters away

Lunch menu has ‘spiny lobster’ which turns out to have less meat on it than a couple of large prawns..thank god we ordered some fries to accompany the dish. Seriously need to warn customers how tiny the food is…Service is okay , environment sparse.

Great location about 4km. off the bike trail to Gedser. Rally pretty and clean little town with this really pretty and very clean , moodern hotel/restaurant . Personnel were very friendly and courteous . Room was very large , clean and bright . Bathroom was the same . On site restaurant had limited menu but food was very good and at reasonable price point . Inside bicycle storage . Breakfast was not overly diverse but certainly was more than adequate . Really nice place to spend a night or more . We will stop again when in a biking adventure.

We arrived and waited and waited to be checked in. After ringing the bell, telephoning the number given four times with no answer, and banging on the door, eventually the waitress from the restaurant came through. She stuck a key and a piece of paper on the counter top and said “ room 1 through the white door “ and vanished. Not even hello and welcome. We could not find the room, when we did it was cold, looks half furnished and although clean it was very basic.went out with our Danish family, came back at 10.30 and could not get in. All doors locked, front door locked, no one about and we had to bang on another guests window to come and let us in. They could not open the front door from inside and they got another guest to open the side door. The girl in the morning just muttered oh sorry, should have said the key opens the side door as well and promptly walked away. Came home second evening, same thing and had to walk all round the hotel to find out which door the key fitted. It was the back door not the side door and although the key went in and opened the door, we then could not get it out, so although we were in we could not open our room as the key was jammed in the lock. Eventually with oil we retrieved the key, opened our room but could not relock the back door to the hotel. The place seems to be run by two untrained, very young girls who have no idea about anything. Never again will we stay here and our family who live here will never recommend this place, nor come and eat here.
