Hotel Bintang 4 Verona Populer

A decent hotel with premium quality room.  Everything looks luxury.  Almost all items with the hotel’s badges.  The only thing I don’t like is the room does not upgrade to USB accessories.

I was temporarily upgraded to a suite, which was perfect. The whole family liked it very much. It is a very dreamy hotel. Although it is not big, the location of the hotel is very good. All attractions are within walking distance. The main commercial street is right outside the door.

The most satisfactory hotel for this trip to Italy, the price/performance ratio is full, it provides everything you need, the room is brand new, the location is perfect, you can also upgrade, the front desk is also very friendly

I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

No words to say really and the fact that the guy who was resptionist told me this is not my responsibility and I am not a waiter to bring blankets for you was anoteher level. I really like to discuss this with their manager because I've been to that hotel before and I aimed to go again but I don't think so anymore. Not me and my family! The receptionist was not professional and they expected me to go to their other building to collect the blankets that they did not provide! They were rude that they wanted to get to my room with out prior permission from me to check if the room actually has blankets or not!!!! They did not trust my words as a guest!!! this was so not respectful and of course I did not let them in to the room at 11 pm while my parents are sleeping and told them to check the room while I am checking out in the morning!! OMG I was waiting for blanket since 12 pm!!!! And they said you should come and collect it because we don't have staff!!!! a 4 star hotel! And once I went there they actually had 2 staff!

Highly recommended! Very clean, comfortable room, there is even a bathtub, nice view! Congratulations to the Reception, very good girls and guys. Fair price, breakfast of various choices, NOT central location (I recommend bus to get to the center) but very quiet area. Maybe a few more details need to be improved: as a set of more bathroom items, slippers, also TV freezes every now and then (you have to insert a kind of pin to unlock it even if I didn't have time to look at it).

Hotel is right on the main shopping district. It is 1min walk away from LV (start of the shopping street), and the Arena (mini colosseum). You have plenty of food choices here. Breakfast is served daily in the room, so you can have the comfort of eating in your PJ. Room is huge, so you have plenty of space for your luggage etc. cleanliness is good. Only small downside is, if you are a light sleeper, you might be disturbed by the noise from the shopping district which typically ends around 11pm daily. I had a good 8 days stay here!

We really liked everything! Modern comfortable apartments in an incredibly convenient location - 5 minutes from the Arena! Cleaning every day, shampoos refilled, towels changed if you put them on the floor. There is a kitchenette, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and 2 small bottles of water are provided daily. The staff at the reception are very nice. Among the small disadvantages: there were problems with the safe, it did not open for two days in a row, it gave an error, although we entered the code correctly, when they came to us to fix it, it turned out that it opened with the usual standard code (i.e. it could be opened any employee just like that). Well, the cost was a little high for the New Year holidays, but everything is clear here :) Overall, highly recommend!
