Hotel Venice Mestre

Hotel is just across the road from the Venice Mestre Station. Our room is of decent size on the eighth floor. It has dark brown carpet flooring making the already old hotel, feel even older. Although the room size is decent, it is not functional. We have an ”island” in the middle of the room with a TV on top and a fridge underneath.  They get in the way.  There is no space for a coffee table. We need to boil water with the kettle provided in the toilet.  They should have renovated the room with wooden flooring to give a clean and modern lift. Breakfast is very average, with no greens (salad) at all. You get just sliced cucumbers and shredded carrots.  Recommend to buy a day pass for unlimited bus and boat rides in Venice.

The hotel was in a very good location. Just being about a one minute walk away from the Venezia Mestre station, the hub of transportation in the area, it was very convenient to travel to and from Venice. The only complaint that I had was that the hotel had very (very) thin walls. Every time my adjacent (and above) rooms turned on the shower, flushed the toilet, and had a conversation, I heard everything. I even heard somebody urinating. Additionally, the room keeper opened and slammed the doors starting at around 7-8AM, causing me to wake up earlier than I wanted to be. The hotel staff were all great. I might consider staying here again in the future.

All good, only small details to improve according to the imposing structure (window frames that you could hear the tumors outside even though they were closed or draughts, the light above the TV did not work and the toilet flush that only worked for the large rinse and not the fast one needs to be reviewed, mattresses not suitable for the type of room, the cheap ones with springs without a toppers,

It's a good place to stay when driving to Venice. The parking lot is convenient and the train station pick-up is very nice.

One of the best hotel if you are considering to have a day trip or a short stay in Venice. The hotel is located perfectly between Venice Mestre train station and right next to the bus station towards Venice islands. There is also a nice large supermarket in case you would like to buy groceries. Hotel was clean and modern with a relatively nice view. Though as it’s next to a train station, there might be some noise of the trains during the night. But it didn’t bother us at the slightest. Would recommend anyone to stay here as it’s convenient and reasonably priced.

Leonardo Royal is located just 10 mins walk from the bus and train station making it an easy and convenient place to stay. Rooms are clean and bathroom is spacious. The reception also taught me an easier path to walk behind the hotel parallel to the train tracks for a smooth path to walk with my luggage to the bus station to go to the airport. Breakfast spread was good. it's my 3rd time staying here. Happy to recommend.

The hardware is aged and all USB ports were out of order. The front desk staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok but the staff is rude. Breakfast end at 10:00 but they start to stop food at 9:40.

Very nice, clean and modern hotel, only a block away from the #6 bus line with service to Venice as well as the Venice Mestre train station. Daily housekeeping service, breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price (free for kids) as well as dinner service hosted by wonderful staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Typical Hilton so quality was not bad. Rather than paying v high hotel rates in Venice people should consider Hilton as it is v reasonable. There are two buses right outside the door with the 2nd stop that brings you to Venice bus terminals. You can walk in to Venice or take a ferry within 30 min with things to see whilst you are walking. Another plus is that with a 5 to 10 min taxi ride you and your luggages will arrive at the door of Hilton without the trouble of taking your luggages to your hotel in Venice after transport through boats But you need to time the return journey especially when the weather is cold or wet as it is hard to get a taxi in the evening when people are leaving after dinner.

Air conditioning is non-existent. Despite flagging this daily with the reception staff, we were told numerous excuses and conflicting stories about what the AC could be set to. For a four star hotel I also expect more than one tea bag per day (when two adults sharing). Everything just seem to be money saving orientated! The breakfast is appalling quality too. The room itself was perfect for what we needed and extremely clean. Bed also very comfortable. But unfortunately those issues stated above made for an unpleasant stay overall.
