Venice My Friends Canal View

My family of 3 stayed here in September. When I initially phoned the reception from our taxi to advise of my arrival I got hung up the female who answered it lol - so it wasn't the greatest first experience but I put that down to the language barrier. On arrival, our room itself was spacious, clean with nice bathroom, and the best part is the magnificent views of the canal down below from our window, staying here was a good choice too as it's away from the noise, hustle and bustle from the city centre so for that reason it's also at a reasonable price. If you want to stay somewhere that will not break the bank and has gorgeous views I'd recommend it - just be aware they don't speak great english so would be good to at least brush up on some italian.

Great location! Good price! Overlooks the canal! The location was nice. The view was very beautiful.It is very close to Gettho and the bus station, railway station. We can easily go to any famous place in Venice. It has a good vibe around a taverna bunch. Great value for the price. Thank you.

Amazing little spot in venice, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area but still with in good walking distance. Jenifer is an amazing host, let us check in early and leave our bags in storage on our last day. Super friendly and accommodating. The room was huge and really affordable given what you get! Really clean, lovely view of the sea and the canals, and the bathroom was also stunning. Will stay there again if we visit - thank you!

No es lo que parece. Las calificaciones qué hay en Google y Booking no condicen con el servicio ofrecido. NO tiene internet! Tienes que conectarte al hotel de al lado con la suerte de que funcione! Una locura en esta época. Imposible trabajar o conectarse. NO hay caja fuerte/caja de seguridad. La televisión solo para la foto, porque NO funciona. El agua apenas sale de la ducha y con suerte calienta un poco. NO ofrecen servicio de limpieza en la habitación durante la estadía. Tienes que pagarlo extra si quieres. No hay ascensor. Imposible para gente con movilidad reducida o familias con bebés y/o carritos. Nadie te ofrece buscarte en la terminal de tren para ayudar con el equipaje. No te dan recibo legal del pago de la tasa municipal (4 euros por persona por noche). No tiene cortinas black out por lo cual entra luz y sol todo el tiempo. Apenas sale el sol, entra luz a la habitación. Además del ruido externo de los barcos (que no es culpa del alojamiento). La cama no tiene sommier y el colchón se hunde en el medio. Las toallas parecen sábanas por lo finita que son (casi no secan). Pagamos mas de 200 euros la noche, SIN desayuno. NO lo recomendamos. Lo único positivo la vista al canal (si contratas la habitación con tal vista) y el aire acondicionado que funciona bien. Necesitan invertir más para el huésped, no solo ofrecer lo qué hay. Se confían en la alta demanda de pasajeros. NO LO RECOMENDAMOS. Buscar otras alternativas.
