The staff are very nice, although not very forthcoming with any discounts etc for the price you pay for such poor quality. The website photos are extremely deceptive - AI or similar. Peeling wallpaper, scratches, dents , dust, dirt marks on doors, filthy kitchen table and shelving throughout. No cleaning staff on site so I had to do myself. I did manage to get one multi purpose spray from reception. There is nothing in the accommodation but the bare bones. Changing the beds made me feel ill, very musty smelling duvets etc No complimentary cloth or bin bag or dishwasher tablet as with the UK centre parks. The “charming restaurant” advertised is a cafeteria with no charm and i think everything served is from the fryer/microwave. The waterway behind the accommodation was stagnant and smelly. The pool is very basic and small with double annoying security barriers to enter. The play area was reduced to rubble & fencing. The flight path is very disruptive to a peaceful stay both during day and night.

We were looking for a base near Amsterdam and the coast and this fitted the criteria. Looked at previous reviews on this site and note the comments regarding the flight path to the nearby airport. This was a constant issue which should be considered if looking to stay in peak times with family but as we only used it at a base for day trips it didn’t spoil our stay. Faults/damage need to reported within 2 hours of booking in which apart from a few marks and stains on curtains the accommodation was overall in good condition. Due to the time of the year the site was quiet but the Clubroom/bar was open and we found all staff friendly and helpful. As it states on the web site you need to take everything for you stay apart from bedding.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. We stayed in one of the tiny homes. The home was very nice, clean, kitchen was perfect and functional. Beds were comfortable. Nice table and chairs and small living area with comfortable couch and TV. This home is really not for people traveling internationally like us. We came from the US, traveling around the country, and we did not have amenities that we needed with us. We did pay for linens, but you do have to pay six euros per towel set. We had to buy our own toilet paper. They were no kitchen towels. They do give you a small package with a garbage bag, dishwasher, tablets, and sink soap. They do have a sauna, but you can only use it when the desk is open, which is limited hours. And even the hours posted or not necessarily the hours that they are there. For example, after a long day of touring, it would’ve been nice to use the sauna. But at 5:30 PM they were closed. No one at the front desk. Even though it said there would be. I think if you were traveling and you were local, I wanted to do this for your vacation, it would probably be very nice. If you were a family, you certainly could get the joining homes. But there’s nothing to do actually in the facility and you have to drive wherever you want to go. It is close to Amsterdam and the beach. The other thing, is, if the sound of airplanes bother you, forget it. We did not find them bothersome, but we did keep the windows closed at night. (we didn’t use air conditioning or heat so I don’t know if that works). The airplanes are about every two minutes and they’re pretty low. I don’t know how people live here, there are a few permanent residence in the area. It would drive me bananas, sitting outside, listening to airplanes that often. Otherwise, it’s near a Park, which we didn’t investigate at all. There’s a mode train museum nearby, but apparently all train museums in the Netherlands are permanently closed for some bizarre reason. I would say, just look carefully at what your needs are before you stay here.

The location is nice so the pictures might seduce you into booking it, but please consider the following first: - you are immediately charged in full for your upcoming stay - the property will keep 50% of your money should you decide to cancel less than 6 weeks in advance - after you book, you are informed that you have to pay extra if you want bed sheets and pillow cases; don't even think about towels, you won't get any (hidden costs!) - the property claims to alow pets for a surcharge; after I have booked it, I was asked to inform them within 24 hours if I want to bring a pet; I have replied within 1 hour, and then 3 days later they have told me they do not have a pet-friendly cabin for me, and refused a full refund; apparently only a small fraction of their cabins are pet-friendly, not all (misleading information!) - the whole area is very noisy as all planes landing on Schiphol are passing over it; furthermore, in a total disrespect for their customers, they ran the lawnmower at 14.40. - the cleaning can definitely be improved - I woke up with spider bites on my legs The bottom line: better find another place to stay!

Mit Vorfreude angekommen, da die Bilder ja überall super aussahen. Leider durch viel Verkehr erst nach 18 Uhr eingetroffen. Rezeption nur bis 18Uhr geöffnet. Naja halb so schlimm, klappte alles mit dem Schlüssel. Beim Häusschen angekommen, hatte ich schon draussen mit den Möbel meine bedenken. Alles war voller Spinnennetze. Naja ist ja draussen… Türe des Bungalow geöffnet und es kam ein richtig starker motiger Geruch entgegen. Überall in den Ecken war es voll Spinnennetze, im Schrank wo die Teller waren alles voller Staub überall einfach schmuddelig unterm Bett alles voll Spinnennetze da hat es mir total abgelöscht. Reklamieren ab 18Uhr ja niemand mehr zu erreichen. Also entschieden wir uns ein Hotel zu suchen für diese Nacht, um es am anderem Morgen zu lösen. Am Morgen haben wir ausgequeckt, da wir beschlossen haben ein schlechter Start,dass kann nicht besser werden in diesem Park. Muss auch sagen an der Reception reagierte die junge Frau sehr zuvorkommend. Uns wurde auch das Geld komplett retour erstattet. Dieser Service super muss einfach an der Reinigung einiges verbessert werden. Wir hatten danach 3 Tage ein super 3 Sterne Hotel sehr sauber und dann noch 6 Tage eine Anlage mit Häuschen auch sehr sauber gegen dass letzte😉

Bij aankomst stonk de badkamer extreem. Na wat onderzoek en de kranen een tijdje open te hebben gezet trok de lucht weg. Het was dus langdurig stilstaand water wat we roken. Daar zadel je een huurder niet mee op, maar hoort onderdeel te zijn van het protocol na langdurige leegstand. extreem veel spinnenwebben binnen en nog erger overal stofnesten. Het huisje was gewoonweg zeer matig schoongemaakt. Glazen waren erg vies waardoor we begonnen met een volle vaatwasser en ook de tafel en stoelen op het terras zijn te vies voor gebruik. dat maakt ook dat we hebben besloten niet buiten te zitten. Positief: voldoende ruim huisje, mooi groen en onderhouden park (maar blijkbaar niet overal, iets met contracten voor groenonderhoud?), goed bereikbaar met OV
