The location of this hotel is a bit excentric, and there is not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity. But it is still possible to reach the town centre by foot with a 20 minutes walk. We had a family room for 4. It was big, modern and great. We enjoyed the several saunas very much, combined with the possibility to cool off with cold water, and relaxing in a quiet lounge, although the repeated music would annoy after the third time. The water, not sure if it was indeed mineral water, had a strong chlorine scent, so I'm not sure how good it is eg for people with eczema. The food was excellent. There was a wide variety at the buffet table, and we could order from a good collection of wines separately. The gym is a joke. The machines are poor, and there is no space if other guests join as well. There is also a lack of capacity for the elevators, so we spent a lot of time waiting for them, or took the stairs instead. We ordered two rooms at first, but cancelled one immediately. We asked immediately for a partial refund, but the response was that we would get a refund after our stay, when other expenses were subtracted. We left the hotel with no specification of our expenses, despite us asking, as we were promised that it would be e-mailed to us right away. It took months of us, and endless e-mailing and calling, to finally get our money back, and we still have doubts about the amount. We still did not get a specification, so there is no way for us to check. Our advice is not to pay in advance. You may have better protection when booking through a third party website, and certainly not the full amount or more.
