Our recent stay at Bom Sucesso Resort was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations. We encountered numerous problems during our 2-day stay over New Year’s Eve: • Heating and Wi-Fi were non-functional upon arrival, and while fixed later, the Wi-Fi remained unreliable. • Staff gave absurd instructions like not moving the sofa or pressing a certain light switch to avoid disconnecting the Wi-Fi—completely impractical, especially with kids in the house. • A broken bench forced me to drive to reception for replacement chairs. • Frequent power outages left half the house without lights or electricity on New Year’s Eve. Attempts to fix this issue were temporary and ultimately failed. The most frustrating part is that these electrical issues appear to be a known problem, yet the villa was rented out regardless. Even worse, despite raising these issues during our stay, at checkout, and via email afterward, I have received no response whatsoever from the resort’s management. This lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable. I cannot recommend Bom Sucesso Resort to anyone looking for a reliable, stress-free vacation. Avoid at all costs if you value good service and responsiveness.

From the condition of the villas to the quality of hospitality offered by staff, this was a huge disappointment. The villas have not been maintained, as evident from many deteriorating aspects throughout. Best example are the bathrooms, where the tiles do not lay flat, and the grout is cracked and very dirty. Ditto for the caulking around the tub. There's a skylight which does not let much light in due tot he accumulation of dirt and debris. The villas were two stories, and our downstairs level, which included the kitchen and living area, was overrun with ants. Not my favorite early morning activity to collect and dispose of hordes of ants. Also, we did not know what was decaying off the patio, which is off the sliding door from the living area, but there was a large community of flies which prevented us from using the patio or even going outside through the sliding doors. I requested that the "resort" address these issues but, in the 5 days we were there they did not do a thing. Also, there were steep stairs leading down to the entry door, and the railing was very loose and covered with some sticky substance. Again, I asked for this to be addressed so I didn't have to worry about falling the stairs, and it was never taken care of. We had dinner at the "club" the first night and the food was terrible. Finally, we had made reservations five months in advance for TWO villas, as we were attending a family wedding in Obidos. When we arrived, the staff told us that no, we only had a reservation for ONE villa. They were quite insistent, until we showed them the email confirmation of the reservation. Even then, they were not apologetic. They found a second villa, but it was not convenient to the first, but they said that was all they could do. We also discovered that the wedding planner had come earlier with two welcome boxes, since she knew there were two parties staying a Bom Successo, but the hotel staff told her that only one party was staying there. However, they claimed, to us, that the wedding planner only brought the one welcome box. Did they not think we would talk to her and find out they were just lying? We were promised that the hotel would provide a remediation for us (we suggested a significant discount was in order) due to the abysmal treatment and the deficient accommodations but, despite repeated inquiries, nothing was ever addressed. All in all, the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Terrible experience from start to finish ! The lighting was so poor I had to use the mobile phone light to find the restaurant. The food was nice but was followed by stale bread ! The villa again had to use my mobile because had no light outside. The front door the wood was falling apart a few webs so clearly the room wasn’t cleaned property. The bed was very comfortable. They rely on this popular architects but lighting and better clean was essential. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place such a bad expirience needs much better managed for sure ! In this day and age is no excuse the one that give having MEO down !!

Lovely resort and very quiet. he villas are all very spacious and fully serviced. We had a one bedroom villa and it was very large. The site has been built for a few years and shows signs of age. The villa is cleaned every day and the pools are also cleaned daily. It is a golf resort and this is the main income for the area. The facilities are great and the site clean. There is 24 hour reception and security. The area is very natural and peaceful, so if you want to relax and take time out this is a great place for that. The villa has all the white goods and well equipped kitchen as well as two shower rooms. Full WiFi and multi channel TV/DVD!
