Hotel Veda is one of the best hotels and we had a most memorable experience of our 3 day stay there. Staff is very courteous, helpful and very well mannered. My sincere thanks to their staff Isha. They were ever willing to help us in providing every possible details about various places to visit and help us in scheduling our visits too. Their restaurant is too good. Every dish is tasty. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay and a memorable experience.

Veda Hotel is well located close to the main temples and ghats. Close enough to walk to these places yet far enough for 4 wheelers to be allowed to the hotel. People who have difficulty walking can hire wheelchairs from just outside the hotel itself. It is a small, neat and clean property with a very good vegetarian restaurant. Is accessible by wheelchair too. We found Esha at the front desk and every other member of staff, very cheerful and always willing to help. Ours was a family group with very senior members including one in the wheelchair. Yet, we were comfortable, thanks to the team at Veda. Room amenities are good. However, the management must add a hair dryer, dental and shaving kit also so that it is complete in all aspects and matches the best in class. The access to the ramp at the entrance is one step high. Will request the management to keep a small metal or wooden ramp handy so that it can be used when required, without blocking the area. This will help smooth passage of wheelchairs without having to lift it even once. The hotel and restaurant are a little pricey, but if you are looking for quality and convenience, Hotel Veda is surely worth it. Keep it up Hotel Veda and thank you for taking good care of us.

Our stay at the Veda Hotel in Varanasi was segmented. First we stayed two nights (11 & 12 February) we felt very comfortable and relaxed. The reception personnel were always very courteous and collaborative. Particularly Isha, who spoke good English and helped us in communicating with the rest of the staff. This compares favourably with other hotels where sometimes nobody was able to communicate in English. The restaurant personnel were very attentive to our needs and provided great support in accommodating our needs. The food was particularly attractive providing a comprehensive menu of different cuisines. The meals were well prepared and presented but the most enjoyable aspect was the exquisite taste of every dish we ordered. The bedroom was maintained in very good order providing clean linen, towels and alike. There was always a nice scent whilst entering the bedroom. The air-conditioner worked to satisfaction allowing easy and reliable temperature control to our satisfaction. There was adequate soundproofing in the bedroom and exterior noises were not noticeable. The reception area, as well as the stairs and lift were maintained cleaned and without traffic obstructions. The security team was always vigilant and in good presentable uniforms enhancing a secure feeling. There were some minor power disruptions but almost immediately rectified without any adverse effect on us. The availability of wifi was quite satisfactory and good connectivity was adequate at all locations of the hotel. The hotel management was very responsive to our requests and their positive disposition to attend to our needs made our stay very pleasant and rewarding. In total we stayed in four different hotels in the region and Veda was the best of all.
