"I had a pleasant stay at Vantalia Hotel. The breakfast was very good and I really enjoyed it. The room service was also reliable and quick. The staff were kind and helpful, especially the receptionists. One of them, Amir, helped us with several things during our stay and made everything easier for us. Overall, it was a comfortable experience and I would recommend this hotel to others visiting Van."

"This hotel looked like it needs some refurbishing but it does have a strong point in that it right on Lake Van. I had a few issues during my stay but were resolved immediately. The room I was first given smelled of drainage pipes so they immediately gave me another. In the evening, I realised my hair dryer was broken. They immediately sent someone to fix it. The next day, the water from my toilet no longer worked. They sent someone to fix it immediately while I had breakfast. They are very quick to solve any problems. I loved the breakfast, so much variety. And I am grateful that they let me have my room a bit earlier which many hotel won’t even if they could. The staff are great."

"Personally, I felt this hotel offered good value for money. From the long-distance bus terminal, there are shared minibuses (blue) that take you to the city center, from where it's about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Since we arrived early and couldn't check in, the hotel staff offered us tea first. The man in front of us was rather aloof, perhaps due to language barriers, but another man (probably the owner) was much more welcoming and helped me with my luggage to my room. The hotel is conveniently located near many amenities, including supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls. The room rate included breakfast. The room was clean and had a refrigerator. There was heating at night. The next morning, there was a partial power outage, requiring us to climb stairs to the restaurant, but it was quickly restored. Breakfast started at 8:00 AM, not 7:30 AM as stated on the website. Also, I must point out that the breakfast food wasn't fresh; it seemed to be leftovers from the previous day, refrigerated and then taken out again. While thrift is commendable, it depends on the situation."

"We stayed 3 nights. There was no cleaning of the room in between nor towl change. The breakfast room is small and the bread wasn't covered so not nice to eat. The manager and the girl at the reception were very friendly. The restaurant newt to the hotel which also belongs to the hotel owner and manager is very good. We had the grilled meat."

"The stay at Vantalya Otel in Van was great. I had the warmest welcome which immediately made me feel at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and speaks English very well. The room is spacious and clean with a hot shower and well working airconditioner. Also breakfast is good and there’s a great variety to choose from. And the location of the hotel is right in the middle of the center, making it a good spot to explore Van."

"The hotel was centrally located, cleanliness and order were good, but what I didn't like was that there was no indoor parking lot, we left the car clean and got it dirty. The minibar products in the rooms were overly expensive compared to outside. There was either no ventilation in the bathroom or it didn't work. We didn't report this, maybe if we did they would have taken care of it, I don't know. The breakfast was good. It was good in general."

"I stayed at Indiana Hotel in Van, Turkey, for 5 nights and had a mixed experience. The breakfast was decent and tasty, offering a good variety to start the day. The beds were okay, though not particularly comfortable, but they were manageable for a short stay. The hotel’s location is a big plus, being close to shopping centers and supermarkets, making it convenient for exploring the city. However, there were some downsides. The hotel is right next to a busy bus station in the city center, and the constant honking from drivers until 11:00 PM was incredibly disruptive. There was no air conditioning in my room, which made it less comfortable, especially in warmer weather. While the room itself was clean, I noticed some stains on the provided towels, so I avoided using them. Overall, it’s an okay choice for budget travelers, but the noise and lack of AC were significant drawbacks."
