Mirabó de Valldemossa

This place is an absolute gem, made even more special by its incredible host. Antonio’s warm hospitality made us feel so welcome that Mirabo truly felt like a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully designed, blending elegance with comfort, with picturesque views everywhere you look. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all beautifully presented and delicious. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a romantic getaway, this is the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Highly recommended!

I visited with a few friends in June 2023 and we all returned this year as we’d had such a great time the previous year. The bedrooms are spacious, rustic, with antique furniture with all the usual amenities. I fell in love with the bed! The rooms are air-conditioned which is a must this time of year. The staff are fantastic and our host, Antonio, was a delight and nothing was too much trouble. The food was gorgeous! The grounds were covered in old olive trees and we ate out under them for breakfast and dinner. Local sheep and goats would roam through on their way up the mountains. The views are breathtaking. There’s a decent sized pool and a separate plunge pool. If you’re after some quiet time - this is the place to stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend and hope to visit again.

This was our annual stay with a group of close friends and it proved to be as amazing as it was last year! Antonio (supported by the gorgeous Carmen) is the most fabulous host, where nothing is too much trouble. He ensures everything is just so and that his guests have everything they need to make each stay at Mirabo a memorable one. The staff are attentive, considerate and professional. Breakfast eaten under the shade of the olive trees is so special as is dining in the evening by candlelight. The food is super fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Mirabo is an oasis of calm, understated luxury in a beautiful country.

I adore Mirabo! I have been every year for the last 6 years and treat it as a little pilgrimage! Each time is still as beautiful as the last. There is peace, tranquility and beautiful surroundings with fabulous staff who are always so friendly and lovely, all led by the marvellous Antonio who is a true gem and such a lovely man. I hope to keep coming back to this very special place.

We stayed in 5 different hotels across the span of 15 days for our honeymoon - and when I tell you this one was the most memorable, if not life changing, I do not exaggerate. This respite near Vallgedmossa is a 'finca' or luxury converted estate, where every detail has been thoughtfully converted to accommodate a place of peace, restoration, and integration with nature. There's a historic walking path behind the property to walk into town, wild sheep roaming in the nearby hills, and a maximum number of guests due to the limited guestrooms- my idea of heaven. We stayed in the private apartment room above the pool, with a huge vista overlooking the town. We also had a private outdoor shower and terrace for reading. Truly the most peaceful place I've ever been. The inside of our room could get a bit humid/steamy from the bathroom since it was open air between the bathroom and the bedroom, but we didn't mind. The bed was comfortable but firm, what we've found common in Europe. I would have loved an additional pillow or two, as I tend to like a lot! These are small details that didn't detract from our stay. We appreciated the honesty bar, historic dining room with olive press where you could enjoy dinner on the property without walking into town, and the amazing breakfasts in the open air every morning. Not to mention - Valldemossa was our very favorite town on the island. Go to Es Taller and get the orange-juice-ceviche! As many reviewers have mentioned, the hotel manager Antonio is fantastic. Kind, unimposing (unless you'd like to connect/chat), amenable, professional - he has created a model business for this type of traveler. If a historic-modern estate with ＜10 rooms, pastoral views, serene outdoor spaces and pool, and hiking accessibility sounds like your style - don't hesitate to go out of your way if you have to, and come here.

My wife and I, and our 13-month-old daughter had the most special experience staying at Mirabo. The property is truly remarkable; a beautiful finca nestled into the hill with stunning views. There's a very pleasant 25-minute walk you can take into town from the back of the property. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and met all our needs, and we loved coming home to it every evening. The dining area, the living room, the pool, and the outdoor patios are all gorgeous. There's a fun honor-bar, and my wife and I would grab a bottle of wine from in the evenings and relax by a fire. But the true star of this hotel is Antonio, the host, and the rest of the wonderful staff! We cherished all of our interactions with everyone who worked on the property, and our daughter did as well, she would light up anytime she was around them. Antonio is such a joy to talk with and went above and beyond to make our stay unique and special. My wife and I had so much fun becoming friends with him, and we were so sad when our stay came to an end. We can't wait to come back here and bring everyone we love!
