Fantastic hotel in a quiet location off the beaten track in a beautiful part of Spain. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. We saw a few of the rooms and they were all top quality. The common areas were all designed and fitted to an exceptional standard and we had a lovely chat with the owner. We would return in a heartbeat!

We have just returned from a seven night holiday at Mas de La Costa and it is difficult to put into words how special and delightful a place this is. The hotel is surrounded by rolling hills ,olive groves and beautifully planted gardens with far reaching views in all directions. The rooms are cleverly decorated with interesting art and pieces brought back from the owners travels. The beds are extremely comfortable with soft linen and pillows. There are two excellent chefs who prepare a different menu each day using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We ate out several times but there was nothing locally anywhere near as good. Finally it’s the friendly staff who deserve the biggest accolade. The owner Paquita and her manager Fernando are always on hand to help sort out walks/rides, bring bowls of fruit to the pool, advise on wine etc. Why can’t all hotels be like this! The biggest recommendation is the number of reviewers who have returned. This is a gem and we can’t wait to return and recharge our batteries.

Hotel Mas de la Costa is charming luxury hotel in the most stunning setting. Outstandingly calm and peaceful, we enjoyed the hikes in the area, after which we were always looking forward to relax at the pool. Add to that its delicious restaurant, the amazing buffet for breakfast, we could not wish for a more perfect stay.

I have never visited a place like this. It is what so many other places try to be and it seems to do it with no effort at all. If you are ever looking for the perfect romantic get away this is it. It looks and feels like something out of Tuscany Italy in the 20's. The owners did an incredible job restoring this property, that was built in 1804. Literally before Napoleon invaded Spain. You cant build something like this today, The charm is ever where you look and the staff even more so. If you plan a trip or find yourself near this location I highly recommend trying to bok here for the once in a live time experience.

Magic! A completely restored building, restorated with love and passion to a level that gave us and ultimate 5 days stay mid october 2022. With only 15 rooms it almost felt like we were alone. Nice quiet surroundings with a beautiful garden and spectacular view, we had a very quiet and relaxing time. The restaurant serves fine dining with high quality. With 2 fireplaces, one in the restaurant and one in the lounge, honest bar (self service) and no TV, it was relax in heaven. Thank you very much to the owners Francois and Christian, but also to Fernando, both chefs and all personell for a magic few days. Every little details was taken care of. We will for sure come back and we will for sure bring our friends. With more then 60-70 nights in a hotel/resort this year, this is one of the very few we can truly recommend. You will all forever be in our hearts, we just love the place and the people working in this wonderful place. Ina & Lars (Norway)

Perdu un pleine nature, ce mas campagnard magnifiquement réformé mérite le détour. Accueil personnalisé, professionel et très aimable. Chambres coquettes et confortables avec une très belle salle de bain et climatisation naturelle par le sol, piscine à débordement, et restaurant divin au coucher du soleil, sur la terrasse, face au jardin. Carte courte mais très bonne cuisine (steack tartare très bien assaisonné, petit cochon confit à fondre de plaisir), délicieux vins locaux. On ne pouvait pas espérer mieux pour cette étape sur une longue route entre Marseille et Madrid.

El lugar perfecto para desconectar y descansar. Plana naturaleza a las afueras de Valderrobles. No existe el ruido. La limpieza de todas las instalaciones es absoluta y la atención del personal continua pero sin atosigar. Muestra habitación era amplia y completamente equipada. No tienen tv ni minibar, pero no es necesario porque tienen sala de TV y un bar completamente surtido donde puedes tomarte cualquier cosa 24 horas al dia y anotarlo a tu habitación. Desayuno y cena correcto. La piscina y la terraza sobre los arcos con ideales para ver la puesta de sol. Muy recomendable para grupos porque tiene todo tipo de estancias donde estar sin molestar a otros clientes, tanto dentro como fuera. Lo recomiendo.

Nos hemos alojado en Mas de la Costra este mes de agosto. Estuvimos en la suite Neruda, espacio único por la intimidad y exclusividad de la misma. Pocas veces encuentras un hotel que consigue generar un equilibrio casi perfecto ente sentirse en un entorno único y exclusivo y a su vez recibir un trato por parte de todo el personal y especialmente de los propietarios tan cercano y amable. No te sientes solo un huésped, eres un invitado al que han estado esperando, alguien imprescindible en el sitio exacto y el momento exacto. Esperamos volver pronto.
