Sandvika Camping

On October 5, we booked a cabin at Sandvika Camping. When making the reservation, there were different options, some more economical, without a shower in the cabin, and others more expensive, but with a shower inside the cabin. We booked a more expensive one in order to have a shower inside. The establishment informs us by booking message of the cabin number and tells us that the keys will be on the door. When we arrived, we entered the cabin and saw that it did not have a shower, so we did not have the cabin with the amenities we had reserved. We called the establishment, as it does not have a reception, and they tell us that that was the room we had reserved and that the showers were located in another building. Through their application, we sent them a screenshot indicating the room amenities and where it clearly stated that the cabin reserved had a shower inside. We did not receive any further response from the establishment and we contacted Booking. Booking tells us that the amenities of each accommodation are written by the owners and that they cannot be held responsible. They also indicate that they have called the establishment and they do not provide a solution, telling them that we were lying in the reservation made and that we are the ones who must contact them again. In this situation, we call the establishment again and tell them that we want to cancel the reservation if they do not provide the room that we had reserved with the indicated amenities and they literally tell us to look for another accommodation and that they will pay us the amount, so we leave the cabin and look for another accommodation. Finally, the accommodation has not proceeded to pay the amount of the reservation and has informed Booking that it will not do so. The truth is that we feel totally scammed and not only that, but it is the lack of respect and the bad treatment received by the establishment, reaching the point of hanging up the phone after telling us to abandon it and look for another room where to stay. Of course, I would not recommend this place to anyone, not because of the cost of the cabins, which in the end was the least of it, simply the lack of respect of the staff who attended us, making us believe that we were requesting amenities that we had not reserved when we paid more to have a simple shower in the room.

We had a cabin on the shores of the fjord which had amazing views across the water. The cabin needed some TLC - window locks were not secure and the shower had a broken drain cover and slippery floor. Facilities in the cabin were good and clean. We had a good range of utensils. Blackout was weak….in the land of the midnight sun! Check-in was difficult…the office is not always open and finding someone to process us took at least 45 minutes….but the welcome was very friendly and helpful.

Hébergement en cabane avec vue agréable sur mer et montagne. Construction ancienne avec salle de bain minimaliste récente. Quelques travaux seraient nécessaires : la porte de la salle de bain dont la peinture est écaillée ne ferme pas, la hotte aspirante est à remplacer …

Meillä oli kahden makuuhuoneen mökki kolme yötä. Mökki kaipaisi pientä ehostusta, ulko-ovea ei saanut lukittua sisältä, wc-pönttö vuosi, valokatkaisimet oli rikki… miljöö erittäin hieno, auton sai parkkiin suoraan mökin eteen, pieni terassi ja upeat maisemat. Emme nähneet tai kuulleet henkilökunnasta mitään, respan edessä oli koko ajan suljettu-kyltti. Aamupalaa ei ollut tarjolla tai siitä ei mitään ilmoitettu.

Location bellissima, cabina comoda, prezzo onesto. Anche strategicamente la posizione è buona. Punti negativi: -nel weekend si affolla tantissimo, si perde l'intimità che può esserci quando non sono presenti tanti campeggiatori -il check in si fa dopo le 17, la reception è inesistente, si rischia di arrivare e stare fuori per ore

Non ho abitudine di scrivere recensioni negative anche quando certe strutture lo meriterebbero . Ma questa struttura supera in negativo ogni mia tolleranza . Luogo molto bello ma si dovrebbe solo starsene seduti all’esterno a godersi il panorama senza mettere piede all’interno dell’alloggio : all’arrivo abbiamo trovato capelli un po’ dappertutto , un paio di piccoli vermi uscire dall’angolo cottura e la camera , se la possiamo definire tale ( 3,5 mq) con due specie di letti singoli da pietà ! Il bagno un disastro , all’interno mobili ( 1 tavolino e 1 divano ) degli anni 50 . Finestra soggiorno rotta ..etccc… Il tutto alla modica cifra di 260 euro x 2 notti . Vi do un consiglio : state lontani da questa struttura se non volete rovinarvi le vacanze !!
