This is a really peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Marlon, Pablo and Leo are very helpful and attentive, and the housekeeping team is first class. The food and drinks are very good. The views are off the scale, we loved sitting outside our room looking at the whale tail and watching all the birds. The villa is very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. In hindsight we wished we'd had a hire car. The team were really helpful getting us taxis but the bills add up quite quickly.

This place is stunning! Marlon, Leo all of the staff are incredibly accommodating. The food; drinks are top tier. Nothing beats the view. The trip up to the resort is a little scary, but my friend knew how to traverse the land. You definitely need a truck going up the mountain. I can not wait to return. See you soon, Pura Vida!

Easily one of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff were amazing, the property is beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are clean and secure. The views from the property are phenomenal. The town nearby is small and quite, but has plenty of options for light shopping, good dining and drinks as well.

A picturesque setting, the Golden Pineapple Villas’s pristine grounds, stunning absolutely breathtaking sunset villa and friendly, accommodating and welcoming staff made our wedding anniversary celebration so special. I highly recommend this place !!!

This is the perfect place to relax and be peaceful, The staff was extraordinary, the food and drinks delicious, the views vegetation and Nature splendid !!! The resort blends perfectly with its surroundings, the view of the ocean is magnificent!!! I highly recommend this place !!!

I planned our trip to Costa Rica by looking for the best boutique hotel with individual pools in each room. I didn't know what part of the country to visit so I just narrowed down my options this way. As soon as I saw Golden Pineapple Villas I knew this was where we were spending my husband's 50th birthday! And what a great choice it turned out to be! The room was EVERYTHING I had hoped for and more! Our first night there we got in late and I ran a hot bath in the outdoor tub and listened to the night creatures all around. Amazing. Not only was the room fantastic, but everyone who works at GPV is absolutely wonderful. We left there friends with Leo, Marlon, Pedro, and Marlon 2.0 and hope to make it back there again! And if they get to AZ they better reach out! We own a RZR so the road up/down was not bad for us at all, although we did rent a 4x4. The town of Uvita was exactly what we had hoped. Not touristy but not dead. We found some amazing bars/restaurants with the kindest people. We were able to book 2 tours right out of Uvita - Corcovado with Ballena Tours, and Cano Island with Dolphin Tours - and both were fantastic! We also booked the Sierpe Mangrove tour with Kokopelli, which we had to drive to but was so worth it. We enjoyed at least one breakfast, lunch, and dinner at GPV and the chefs (Gregory and Emanual - if memory serves) were really great. The view from the bar/restaurant is stunning and provides a view of the whale's tail. It is not a party hotel. It is quite laid back and relaxing. A true gem.

The Golden Pineapple Villas was an absolutely FANTASTIC stay and we will be recommending to all of our family and friends traveling solo or as couples (as it is quite romantic). The customer service was outstanding and made you feel like you were right at home. There are only 7 villas which allows you to get to know the staff very well. We didn’t want to leave and will without question be back! A major highlight is the food and drinks. Everything we ate and drank was amazing and the restaurant is not open to the public so it was a major perk of our stay. It was our favorite place to dine and where we ended up eating most of our meals. The villas and view are breathtaking. Nothing short of the beautiful pictures featured on the website. The staff also helped us book a tour to Corcovado which was so helpful. Can’t wait to visit again!

I am hoping to be able to delete this review. But I just need someone from the hotel to reach out. I have a non-refundable room booked for August for my husband's 50th birthday. I have sent 3 emails in the past 2 weeks. I have tried reaching out on Instagram and Facebook (neither of which have any posts since 12/2023). I called and spoke to someone who was not even at the hotel. He said I am using an email they don't check (it's the one on the website) and provided me with another one that bounced back. I am very nervous that this place is no longer in business.

My husband and I stayed at the sunset villa for a week to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. This place is a DREAM, you will literally never want to leave your villa. The staff is so kind, the food is 11/10 (literally everything we had all week was incredible), they left our villa spotless everyday, and the views are spectacular! You feel like you have the entire resort to yourself since it’s super private and you can’t hear anything but all the birds chirping away. Everything is super modern, very well maintained, and every day the cleaners left our villa spotless. We heard from some of the reviews that the roads were crazy to get here, but if you have a 4x4 it’s nothing to worry about at all. Definitely steep but totally doable! My husband thought it was fun lol. Also, I wouldn’t trust the weather app! It said there were thunderstorms all day every day on the app and it usually wouldn’t even rain until the evening (mid-late May). We were hesitant because of the distance from the airport but now we will probably do it again soon, totally worth it. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants the ultimate romantic gateway ever! You will be blown away. Location, room, staff and food all deserve 5 stars!
